France lead 10-3 at half time. A Penalty Try just before the half which also resulted in a Yellow Card.

Fair play to TnaG for their coverage. But missing Maire Treasa!

Hope I'll be seeing a few more familiar faces at Stade Jean Bouin next week !! Absolutely delighted for the women, they've put in the hard graft and made the sacrifices to achieve these results. The standard of the top 6 teams so far has been far tighter than ever before, usually the pool winners are head & shoulders above all the other teams in their pools, but this time the second placed teams in each pool have pushed the pool winners all the way. Ironically USA's scoreline against NZ probably the worst reflection on the standards of the teams 'cos USA are better than that scoreline.

Snappers aren't the smartest folk around. Easy enough to make their heads hurt.

Anybody read the Indo yesterday, that bint Horan did a piece on women's rugby (here)

I liked it to an article in d'Examiner as I'd feel too dirty to link directly to the Indo!

the main response is numerous postings on twitter using the hashtag #thisiswomensrugby generally accompanied by a photo from womens rugby in Ireland, quite a few being @'d directly at the dimbo columnist.
