'How Ireland's 6Ns squad were rated. by Peter O'Reilly of the Sunday Times - Comical!

You'll get a laugh from this (I hope). Just read the ST's coverage from the Sunday following Ireland's second championship in 29 years. Here's how Peter O'Reilly (plonker) rated some of Ireland's players, I kid you not:

S.TIMES RATING PLAYER. HOW THEY ACTUALLY PLAYED
(Peter O'Reilly) (according to MFans poster 'Daithi')

    'Plodders':
Paul O'Connell. led Ireland to 2nd Championship in 29 years, Best 2nd row v Fra, Arguable MotM. Fantastic
Iain Henderson. Tackled well, carried well, set up choke to close out French game from the bench. Impactful
Tommy O'Donnell. 5/5 tackles & 1 turnover in ~10 minutes v Wales. Dropped for Leinster sub... Bewildering...

    'Finishers'
Jordi(nary) Murphy. Ireland were finished using him to chase a game. Played like a Rabo player!! :-) cos he is!!

    'Surprise packages'
Dan Touhy Who?! When!? For how long exactly? Surprise indeed Peter!! :-)

    'Solid Citizens'
    Isaac Boss. Ah ffs!! :-)
Luke Marshall. Basis for this in this 6Ns??? I.e. How long was he on the pitch over 5 matches?! :-)

    'Star Performers'
Gordon Darcy started & ended Eng game with TO's. Bastareaud diced him for fun v France. Aged& tired!

Whatever about Ireland's rugby, the Sunday Times coverage of Irish rugby gives us Peter O'Reilly, Stephen Jones and David Walsh, a line up that goes the from the sublime to the completely ridiculous to a deluded generalist, who thinks he is an authority on every & any sport. To be fair Denis Walsh, Stewart Barnes & Nick Pitt are quite good in fairness. But the three headline leaders for Irish games write like comical Ali's three baby cousin's. PO'R is one eyed to boot. Of course SJ is well known for his impartiality. :-) Horrendous ****e!! :-)

P.s. incidentally under his top category of Irish 'star performers' , Peter (the plonker) nominates 6 Leinster players from 7 in total!! A real one eyed Beaute:-)!!

Would that he Peter 'Munster Bile' O'Reilly? Has no time for Munster players and a hard on for the Leinster lads. If there was a glut of Irish players on the transfer market in the morning, Conor Murray would go as asap and there would be more takers for Henderson and POM than Jordi Boy or his like.

Did anyone see the Peter O’Reilly article on the Leinster v Munster game at the weekend? First line read something like “considering the amount of bile coming out of Munster regarding the non-selection of players for the Irish squad”. Fairly strong word to use in BILE!!

          The same article has:
"Treviso, who have since the departure of their coach, Franco Smith, will be fuming."

If you can't get the facts right, at least....

          ...ah forget about it.

And they expect people to pay for this sh**e.
