    Other 2013 Autumn internationals

Didn't see this elsewhere, so might as well get its own thread. The Springboks have announced their touring squad for a European tour that includes games against Scotland, Wales and France.

Some controversy (surprise!), but overall a very solid looking squad. And I do mean solid... that forward group has some of the biggest (surprise!) units that I've seen collected under one umbrella. The lock quartet -- Bakkies Botha, Pieter-Steph du Toit, Eben Etzebeth and Flip van der Merwe -- would be a particularly terrifying prospect for any All-You-Can-Eat diner.

    Backs
Gio Aplon, Jean de Villiers (captain), Fourie du Preez, JJ Engelbrecht, Jaque Fourie, Johan Goosen, Bryan Habana, Zane Kirchner, Pat Lambie, Willie le Roux, Ruan Pienaar, JP Pietersen, Jan Serfontein, Louis Schreuder, Morné Steyn

    Forwards
Willem Alberts, Bakkies Botha, Marcell Coetzee, Bismarck du Plessis, Jannie du Plessis, Pieter-Steph du Toit, Eben Etzebeth, Siya Kolisi, Francois Louw, Frans Malherbe, Tendai Mtawarira, Scarra Ntubeni, Coenie Oosthuizen, Gurthrö Steenkamp, Adriaan Strauss, Flip van der Merwe,Duane Vermeulen
"Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man." - The Dude abides.
"Forwards win matches. Backs decide by how much." - DK

South Africa look like they're coming with a strong squad this year! I'd like to know what the European clubs make of SA calling up their players

        No backs? Radical stuff
"There are a lot of points that we’ve left behind and this is with a young group. That probably tells you what they’re capable of and that they’re a very good side.

Probably next year or the year after next they will take some stopping"

Handy that Parra got his ban halved before the test series?

Ollie Le Roux is the SA chef for the next month so they'll eat well.

I don't think that he will recover from Injury. He has haunch problems for 6 months, he need rest.

Really fancy the Aussies to turn England over today. They are being massively underestimated and the English seem to think their ropey set piece has suddenly become world beating, have they not noticed that Vunipola can't scrummage?

Aussies can't scrummage before insertion, but English can ?

Massive **** up by the linesman. . Denied Australia a key attacking opportunity 3 min later England undeservedly square the match.
Hope the aussies win this at a canter in the last 25.

That was a simply disgraceful performance by the officials. Nothing short of scandalous.

Horrible game. I'm glad England fluked the win because they'll delude themselves into thinking they're better than they are. Australia were poor too.
