Is there any chance of creating a new rule to replace Godwin's Law on this site with something along the lines of the Heaslip paradox? BTW I am aware that I, myself, have just invoked The Heaslip Paradox.

Only thing is The Heaslip Paradox is too obvious therefore I propose we call it ADHD's First Law Of INTERNETS.

Considering neither Ireland or Wales have played Italy or Scotland whereas England & France have each played one of them, it's not that bad.

You didn't but it was only a matter of time before it happened (whether you or someone else mentioned it). You know the saying "Lies, damned lies and statistics and Heaslip".
