    Team of the Championship

Dempsey (4 tries?, and very dependable in defence)

Sean Lamont -Scotlands most dangerous player, pips Clerc

    BOD

    Darcy

Strettle (ahead of Robinson, was a huge factor in the restoration of englands confidence )

    ROG

    Troncon

    Parisse

    Wallace (Mauro was very close)

    Easterby

    Bortalami

Alan Wyn Jones -maybe a token welsh, but it wasnt a great year for second rows

    Castrogiavanni

    Ibanez

    Milloud

Seven social sins: politics without principles, wealth without work, pleasure without conscience, knowledge without character, commerce without morality, science without humanity, and worship without sacrifice

You are right on castrogiavanni so hes out, struggling for a 3 alright.
Had Easterby because Betson played 6 for France in every game I think,
      and wasnt wowed by him.

HarrynoDonkey was played mainly at 7, where every side seem to
have handy players. But on second thoughts Simon Taylor might have been
the best of the 6's, allows clerc to start.

Would go with Morgan at 15 I think, and also maybe DOC at 4. The Bull pushes hard for the tight head spot IMO. Otherwise I'd be in general agreement with the Scotscor team.

Taylor was good alright, of what i saw at least anyway - think in France 6 wears the number 7 jersey and 7 wears 6 though, no?

Erm...what were you watching? He may not have bagged himself tries but I felt that he was one of the finds of the tournament.

I'd have Clerc in there as well, thought about what he was doing when he got the ball and did it at pace. Likewise with Morgan. Dempsey was great for us but Morgan was only original Welsh back to make any impact.

Logan, far be it from me to heap too much praise on an Englishman, but Strettle deserves it, he played very well against Ireland and France (very good against France in fact) and looked to be England's biggest back threat against Wales.
