The defense specialist head coach does a great job, but that's all. We lead thanks and only thanks to the defense. Scots are faster, have more pace, play in movement and propose much much more than slow short boxkicks or kamikaze attacks. And yet, on three or four occasions, CJ, Bundee, Jordan Larmour or James Ryan showed their unorganized defense can be broken, but we struggle to let the game rebounce and most of all, we are stil as slow as we were in the last months. So, no great improvement/change compared to what we produced in the last years.
And concerning the disgraceful ref we have today: He has nothing to do on a pitch when he does his job like he did in the first half. The day I'll come to Dublin or Cork, I'll spend my time to visit the town and the pubs,to appreciate the atmosphere, but I won't spoil the pleasure of fans doing an excuse job in a stadium.

The Scots (originally Irish, but by now Scotch) were at this time inhabiting Ireland, having driven the Irish (Picts) out of Scotland; while the Picts (originally Scots) were now Irish (living in brackets) and vice versa. It is essential to keep these distinctions clearly in mind (and verce visa).

Wish Stockdale contested with real vigour in the air. He’s a huge man. Will we see John Cooney at 60mins?

Brilliant non try by Scotland. Poor Hogg.

Ireland making too many mistakes and they could lose this.

Murray's passing has gone backwards again, in this half. Lucky that Furlong has such good hands, because most of the other prop forwards would have dropped those passes behind him.

What are they debating there? Take the bloody 3 pts when they're on offer.

Murray's final play summed up his evening.

Cooney's on. Jackie can relax now.

He'll only be typing with one hand now...
He was as lame as a duck. Not the metaphorical lame duck either, but a real duck that was actually lame. Maybe from stepping on a land mine or something.

Real intent, creativity and pace to the Scottish attack. 16-12 65mins.

                              Agree. Ireland looking second best.

Really cynical foul by Sam Johnson and also cynical reaction afterwards. Should have been yellow. 19-12, Ireland holding on now.
