    Good Restaurants near the Aviva

    Hi Folks,,
im looking for suggestions for a nice eatery for before the match near the Aviva, any ideas?!

There was a great thread covering this somewhere on here a (good) few years ago but I can't seem to dig it up. Anyway all good suggestions, or even a link to the original thread much appreciated.

    thanks in advance

Top of Baggot St, by the Canal, there's a Milano's, just down Haddington St, there's Asador and Angelina's, bit more €€. Further into town, FX Buckleys steakhouse, KC Peaches by Stephen's Green also Nassau St, Dunne and Cresscenzi, Fredrick St also Carluccios, Duke St.

Plenty of burger joints, hipster and mass market inbetween

Mulligans of Sandymount welcomes all fans and does decent value grub on match days - big bowl of stew for under a tenner last few times I was there. Only about 10-15 minutes' walk from the stadium. Get there reasonably early or book ahead if you're eating as it gets pretty crowded.
        Tis but a scratch.
