And to think that Wales, Italy and Scotland handed France the World Cup hosting in 4 years time. They have become the Anti-International rugby team. We should be bitter about that decision for some time to come.

      Yep
They are going to make hay with T and the two Vs.

Shame that Nigel got the penalty try wrong and then Farrell's try should not have been awarded. May be important if they win on points difference..

A foreign coach wouldnt do much. They need to sort out the top14 and issues there as much as anything else.

But the depth of player's is there
            So it should be possible.
Maybe a bigger problem is the buying in of foreign player's
That must be having a negative impact on the French rugby style.
Add the obsession with huge player's
That's not helpful to the traditional French game.

Only watched the match now - France were awful. Shame to see for such a historically exciting team
"There are a lot of points that we’ve left behind and this is with a young group. That probably tells you what they’re capable of and that they’re a very good side.

Probably next year or the year after next they will take some stopping"

Warren Gatland should be top of their list - I think he would turn it round in about a year.

Title decider in a fortnight. England look the best side, but Wales are at home and Warren will have them ready to go.

Wales were poor in the first half against France, And not much better against Italy- they will certainly be up for it at home, but england managed our game better than anyone else has, they killed France with tactical kicking in behind their wings who play quite far up- these’s a tactical insight in England’s game now that wasn’t there (MItchell?), and more players are playing well/staying fit. Looking like a slam, mores the pity.

Ireland were a bit flat, France were ****e, and England were excellent in both games with their tactical kicking catching both teams out repeatedly. Ireland were not prepared for it and France aren’t prepared for anything these days.

However, Gatland has plenty of time to prepare Wales and plenty of cottage to watch so it will be interesting to see what he does. Scotland will have plenty of time too and their back three are no slouches. While I don’t see either of them winning they may well show a few people how to handle the new England, at least in part.

Two BP wins, expect same again vs Italy and Scotland, only Wales can be England's speed bump. Championship looks to be theirs, Grand Slam odds on.

Ronan O'Gara is the man for that job, I'd be scared to think what he could do with that amount of resources and starting point.

                            They should tap him up

They have had some improvements in personnel too. Compared to the Slam team in 2016 they have George and Sinckler in for Hartley and Cole, Curry and Wilson for Haskell and Robshaw, Tuilagi and Slade in for Ford and Joseph, and May and Daly in for Watson and Brown. Very few weaknesses. May and Ashton are dodgy defenders and Youngs can be given the hurry-up, but they're solid otherwise. Every pass will have to stick for Wales to beat them.

O'Gara maybe but Garland is a proven head coach and is less of a risk. Risk is something they can do without.
