But Brian O'Driscoll has recovered from the hamstring injury which kept him out of the defeat by France and will lead the Irish in Saturday's showdown.

Stringer fractured a finger during Ireland's opening match against France.

O'Driscoll's return means Shane Horgan moves out to the right wing while Leicester's Geordan Murphy has been left out of the match 22.

If Stringer does not make it, Isaac Boss of Ulster will retain the number nine shirt.

Ireland: Dempsey; Horgan, D'Arcy, O'Driscoll, Hickie; O'Gara, Stringer or Boss; Horan, R Best, Hayes, O'Callaghan, O'Connell, S Easterby, D Wallace, Leamy.
    Replacements: Flannery, S Best, N Best, M O'Driscoll, A N Other, P Wallace, Trimble. </TD></TR></T></T></TABLE>

Easterby better perform a lot better this week. Want to see Best and Fla on by 60 at the latest.

What the hell are Best and Easterby doing on that team

Esp Easterby ..he was shocking aginst France..he was awful and he keeps his place..shocking ..seriously how bad must he play to get dropped

Good to see G Murphy dropped mind..we dont need ANOTHER missed tackle from him

To not give it everything, is to sacrifice the gift.

                              Good old steady Eddie.

His innate conservatism will be the loosing of this match I fear.
