kearney the real deal

surely kearney has shown with the best individual try i have seen so far this magner league a second try and a thrid put on a plate by drawing two defenders that he is the real deal when it comes to a full back.. should be on ireland team not to mind leinster...its a bird its a plane noits super rob

i thought that was the best backline show i have seen in ages from leinster and with fitzy in for lewis i reckon it would have been truely awesome!!!!!!!!!

then all we need is somehow to get fitzy to also be on

everyone loves horgan and i like him too but god i would have no fears against any backline with

kearney , fitzy, dracy, trimble, o driscoll thats the dream team for me

horgan can come on as impact sub..lol

Was at the game last night,he was ok...still made a lot of errors...and this wonder try had a lot of missed tackles in it....he had kicks out on the full, and his postioning was exposed about 5 times in the 1st half alone when they kicked the ball into LEinsters 22 behind him...and he didnt adjust his position to cover this until the 2nd half-I persume some coach mentioned it at h/t!
      Seas suas agus troid!

It was good to see him perform well last night, he's had a slow start to the season but maybe every young player goes through times like that, given he's only 20 i'm sure he'll come good. As well as Girv has played for Ireland (and indeed Murphy against Australia) i think FB is one position in the backline where Ireland could potentially strengthen.

Fitz needs to be 1st choice at Leinster before he'll play for Ireland anyway. Girve is still the number one fullback at Leinster anyway, he probably couldn't score the try Kearney did but he wouldn't knock it out on the full, be out of position (ever), and still scores a fair few tries himself.

Was happy with the way Kearney played anyway, the guy is getting some confidence back.
