        Keatley didn't make it.
He's a guy who gets up at six o'clock in the morning regardless of what time it is.

He was always going to, I think. Joe says Ruddock was left out because of his injury so looks like he won't be considered.

No real surprises that I can spot.

Conan maybe. He has had one or two decent matches. Wouldn't have him in the reckoning for Ireland yet. Although he's probably on tackle bag duty. I assume Dave Foley is considered injured too?

Reid ahead of McCloskey and Marshall is abysmal Leinsterite clientelism.

There's still 10/11 lads to be axed from that group though.

Denis Buckley has reason to be disappointed . Glad to see Furlong there.

Mc closkey doesn't offer anything different to Henshaw so that's why he hasn't been picked.
I always knew Madigan was a closet Scrum Half. Ignore All things that suggest Continuity.

Says a lot when Munsters starting out half can't even make the training squad.

Big turnaround since January for Keatley. Disappointing for him, but like others on here, I feel that this period may have been his peak. Since then, his kicking both out of hand and off the tee have both seemed to deteriorate, and Jackson has passed him on the inside. Can't complain really.
"I don't believe in fairytales," O'Connell once told me, "even though it feels like I've been lucky enough to live through a few. However it ends, I'll feel lucky."
