If it's true, Toner's the lock to lose out. Not many saw that coming.

Yes. Ruddock's offers more physicality than Jordi.

Toner and Marmion missing out are the two big surprises for me. Chris Farrell is a little unlucky too. Dave Kearney missing out is an outrage, obviously.

You have to feel very sorry for Marmion and Toner.

To be honest, if Schmidt doesn't see Toner starting our key matches, then he is right not to bring him. He is not a player you want to be bringing off the bench with a game in the balance.

Marmion in fairness didn't have the best of seasons last year, so not unreasonable. There is a long drop off behind Murray in terms of quality at nine albeit the gap has been narrowed based on recent form.

Marmion is the only really controversial one IMO. I question what McGrath’s done to get in ahead of him and Cooney.

Addison had a fairly easy time of it, as did Larmour. Neither was tested a great deal but versatility matters.

Farrell’s a bit unlucky. I really think he deserves to go as much as any other centre.

Kleyn hasn’t set the world alight but Toner hasn’t either.

Larmour lucky that the back three competition is negligible. His pedigree and body of work compared to, say, Conway's is non existent

Think Farrell has been hard done by, he's been the best centre in Ireland since coming back from injury

McGrath can consider himself very lucky. I'd have taken Marmion or Cooney ahead of him.
                  Will 2 SHs be enough?

Yet again I find myself asking what Henshaw has done to merit a place in the squad / team . Marmion very unlucky IMHO

We're going to have a very limited lineout without Toner, none of our locks are lineout specialists and Best can't hit a cow's arse with a banjo.
When things go wrong, blame McGahan

If they do announce the squad today and rubbish the plans that have been in place for sometime it makes them look amateur.

If Kleyn is ahead of Toner I don’t see it as a massive call, Kleyn ahead of Dillane or Roux is a pity, but Ultan was gone from the reckoning a good few weeks ago so may not be training right. His first few games with Connacht will tell a lot

Marmion presumably misses out because we are bringing 3 Out halves, 2 of whom are injured.

So change of plans apparently, Schmidt is set to name the squad a casual 6 days early, announcement is expected shortly.

Stringer is bigger even than his own immense shadow. Pound for pound, he is the best tackler in the world. If you put him into bag of cats he\'d come out without a scratch. He was hit very late for Murphy\'s try. And when he got up, as we knew he would, the crowd cried his name as if he had just fixed the economy.Billy Keane-After Munster\'s famous loss to the AB\'s.

The Bull-Truly irreplaceable, a mountain of a man. 100 caps!!

No Toner, Addison, Marmion, Jordi Murphy, McGrath.

                                Farrell is in!

Kleyn is going to be set for a rake of abuse.
