Sexton's 150th appearance for Leinster while Toner will makes his 220th lifting him ahead of Leo Cullen into third in the all-time appearance list at Leinster.

That was Leinstertaining, especially the Lowe try.

Jordan Larmour is a better player than Rob Kearney in every aspect of fullback play. He had another grand game today. A constant threat in attack with his speed and footwork, and willing to get stuck in with impressive physicality in defence too. Schmidt should be using every opportunity now before the 2019 RWC to get him embedded as Ireland's first choice FB. He is a potential game changer in ways that Kearney just can't be.

Head knocks for both James Ryan and Dan Leavy. Ryan's looked worse as he was being led off. Neither reappeared after the HIA.

Some great defence in the first half when Edinburgh went through 35 phases inside the Leinster 22.

Well he'll have to get picked by Cullen/Lancaster ahead of Kearney then for Leinster

Which won’t happen until his positional play improves. Kearney remains ahead of him in my opinion but not for long. It all comes down to experience and having the most highly decorated full back in the history of the game is sure to comfort most coaches.

Take your point, but don't think that Kearney is even the best "safety first" FB any more. His defence is not what it used to be and he does miss a fair number of makeable tackles. Also, he is no longer much of a threat ball in hand. To advance in the RWC will probably require some flair players who are capable of making things happen in attack.

Lot of trash and hate talking in the press by Leinster re Connacht not respecting their superiors earlier in the week, could be a feisty game..

How dare they let a legend take a kick, which he converted, against a team they’d already beaten out the gate? Shocking.

And I hear there was no San Pellegrino provided in the dressing rooms. The goys had to drink tap water!
