    Leinster 2018/19

    Champions Cup pool with

    Wasps
    Toulouse
    Bath

Couple of decent away trips plus Wasps. At least Coventry is easy enough to get to.

They should win every game. Wasps might give some competition but should not be enough. Toulouse is no longer the force it use to be and Bath is lucky to be even in the competition.

Good draw for the strongest team/+squad in Europe. Every media outfit are running the lines “tough” and some even saying “nightmare”! They clearly have never been in an Ulster fans shoes, trying to figure out where we’ll get a single point. Leinster should saunter through this group and I expect them to.

Cushy draw. Those teams have big names but they’re has beens. None of them will be short odds to win the thing.

Wonder will Wasps’ owner be wearing his Leinster jersey for the game!

Toulouse have been resurgent in the last 6 months, transformed form, In Top 14 they lost to the eventual champions in the Q/F

Wasps are a good team presently with some big signings, Brad Shields, Nizaam Carr and Kieran Brookes, coming in.

Bath..meh, exciting back line with Joseph, Watson, Priestland, however can't see them getting far.

Still. it's the "Pool of Champions" according to all media reports.

Toulouse should not be taken for granted.

The issue for Ulster is not the draw but the fact they are the weakest team in the pool. Swap them with Bath or Gloucester and they'd have an even harder job on their hands

Sopoaga is a big upgrade on Cipriani too IMO.

The four stars look a bit off centre there

Back into preseason already, if the photos were taken yesterday that was 27 days after the P14 final.

Last season they staggered the pre-season. Players who weren't on any tour (Lions/Japan/JWC) came back in mid-June, did two weeks training, followed by two weeks off, then they came back at same time as the JWC and Japan/USA tour players were just starting. Suspect they're doing something similar again this pre-season.

Maybe because all there native ex players are too busy explaining to the uninitiated the intricacies of the great game in the media (for a small fee)
