    Young prop Cian Healy is named in the Leinster squad
    for the first time for Friday night's Magners League game against the
    Dragons at Rodney Parade.

    </font>

    The 19-year-old academy player receives a call-up to
    Michael Cheika's panel after impressing in recent weeks for Ireland's
    U20s Grand Slam winning team.
    </font>

    Leinster won the last meeting between the sides by a scoreline of 35-13 and lead the Magners League by five points.
    </font>

    The Dragons have slipped to successive defeats at Edinburgh and the Scarlets.

    Delighted. This news and Earls getting a run at the weekend is great. Hopefully Leinster will stop trying to sign all the SH has-been front row types they've found so appealing the last year or so.
    You have to dare to lose to win, you have to dare to lose to win, you have to dare to lose to win. A winner hates to lose, but the winner is not afraid of losing. That\'s the difference, that\'s the difference.

      fair play, very young for a prop to step up to this level but from what I've seen in the U20's he looks like he's got the skills. Hope he gets some gametime. Including him should be a bit of a kick up the arse to the rest of the front row after friday night as well.

          I'd rather a decent tight 5 but to each their own!

          I'd leave Conti out, he hasn't exactly been doing it for you lately, and give Sexton (is he injured or just not in the picture?) or whatever other young OH you might have lying around some gametime at 10 beside Warner at 12 to take some of the distribution responsibilties off of him.
          Shameless self promotion time ladies and gents!

              I'd prefer to see O'Donohoe at SH, Sexton at OH and Contepomi at 12 if I were you.

              Good to see Healy in. Hope it's not too early for him but he certainly looks promising.

                Why anyone would put Green in the team is beyond me at this stage.

                  Sexton should play as many games as possible at this stage. He will surely be signed up by a GP team soon.

                      Munsterboy, i picked my team from the players included in the squad!

                      Epaddy, The reason i picked Green is because he is the best out of a dyer bunch!

                      And Toomey, Sexton won't be going to a GP club any time soon as he has said himself he'll try and make a great impression in the first team when Contepomi is at the World Cup!

                      Team is picked tomorrow lunch-time...

                            Leinster might just win the Cider League with Conti at OH, but if they harbour real ambitions of winning in Europe then he has to go.
