Leinster’s Eoin O’Malley forced to retire after long-standing knee injury

Genuinely sorry to see this happen. Thought he was a real prospect going forward and must be devestating for a young fellow who seemed to have the world at his feet a couple of years back. Seemed a genuinely intelligent rugby player and an all round good kid! All the best!!!

Another reminder if needed of how fleeting a rugby career can be. Best wishes to Eoin in his future.

That's a pity, tough on a player at that age to have to retire due to injury.
