Good to see Ringrose finally live up to some of the hype, maybe he will make it after all but we need to see it vs top opposition.
\"Only Pienaar, Botha and Ferris would be in contention for a place on our first 15. That\'s a fact.\" - Tickettout\'s take on Ulster April 2011.

He played well yesterday, did some fine footwork to slip out of tackles
"There are a lot of points that we’ve left behind and this is with a young group. That probably tells you what they’re capable of and that they’re a very good side.

Probably next year or the year after next they will take some stopping"

Yes. Ringrose has always had good feet, but he has added a bit of physicality to his game and is quite hard to put down. Probably at his best in close quarters, but still seems to lack just that little edge of top end speed that would make him great.

Thanks OSR. Think Leinster have done well there.

I wonder how Leamy and Contrary Pony are getting on? ;)

FFS, how could JS bring Rob Kearney (Forgot once more James Low in a winning 2 on 1) to Japan and McGrath in front of Cooney and Marmion?!! Robbie still not awakened from his mare in Japan (Solid in defense, but butchered a 4 on 1 with Low, again, coming outside)
On the other side, James Ryan is dominant, VdF outstanding, Deegs make his try as usual and Rhys Ruddock is powerful like a tractor... And Stuart Lancaster a remarkable defense organizer.
The Scots (originally Irish, but by now Scotch) were at this time inhabiting Ireland, having driven the Irish (Picts) out of Scotland; while the Picts (originally Scots) were now Irish (living in brackets) and vice versa. It is essential to keep these distinctions clearly in mind (and verce visa).

George Lowe has been a bit quite?

Good first half from Leinster, dug in well and gutsed it out. Rob Kearney is shocking, has had an awful first half.

Games has turned into a real arm wrestle Leinster still getting on the right side of it and I reckon someone had a word with Luke about Lyon being on the angle in the scrum. On a knife edge

Because they've beaten Stade, Toulouse (away), Toulon, Brive, Racing 92 (away), Bordeaux, Pau, La Rochelle with only one loss away to Clermont after making the semi-finals last year.

They lost to Northampton last week too by ~double scores, similar to Leinster game. They’ve never won a game in the Champions Cup

Yes. There was no good reason to start Kearney in this game. Larmour has done well at FB for Leinster and they have plenty of good enough wings to field a competitive back three that does not include Kearney. Both Leinster and Ireland have to realize that his time is up. A very good FB in his day, but that was some time ago. He peaked about 2009 -20010.
