Ashton is a good example he can no live like a King in Sale on the same money as he was getting in Saracens. If this weighting was taken into consideration in the future how much would Saracens be above their Cap?
This may be an argument for academy or development squad players, not for the front line players that make up the bulk of the salary cap.

It’s also a choice, London offers far more amenities and attractions than other places. If anything I would want to be compensated more for having to live in Sale, or Newcastle.

Even if this applied- it wouldn’t be separated from their salary by setting up separate property investment portfolios. Saracens basic claim is that they remain within the salary cap in terms of what they pay players, and the investment LD made with Wray and various players are not part of their salary-

              Correct. It’s about his ego.

"There are a lot of points that we’ve left behind and this is with a young group. That probably tells you what they’re capable of and that they’re a very good side.

Probably next year or the year after next they will take some stopping"

Big BP win for kidneys LI over Leicester today. 36-11.
The table makes for interesting reading.
nobody would have had Irish above Bath, Leicester, Quinn’s Worcester and Wasps

With Lambs Bristol on top they could be a good interest to win the league with Sarries having problems.(16/1) He knows a thing or two about post World Cup league wins...

Such hypocrites. Pretty sure I heard nigel Wray complaining about the fact that Irish clubs could choose not to concentrate on the league in favour of Europe. This around the time PRL and LNR wanted to scupper the Heineken Cup!

Munster should take this with a grain of salt- they won’t endanger their prospects in either competition until the ‘appeal’ is decided.
