    Here's the Ulster squad to play The Ospreys on saturday in case any of you are interested. This shadow Ulster team probably has a much better win/loss ratio this season than the first team!

      Think he was benching for them last weekend, or at least he was a possibility for the bench.

      Dunno if I'd call it a shadow squad, you're missing some good players but they're spread throughout the team mostly.

      Thought Matt McC wouldn't/shouldn't be in the squad pending his hearing?

          Well shadow squad is probably too strong, but we've beenmore successful without our test players than we have been with them.

                The actual team, not a bad side consdering the losses, we still lack a bit of punch in the backs though, but Bowe is at the top of his game at the minute and arguably should be ahead of Trimble on form in the Ireland squad. Larkin is the best we can offer and if he gets injured we are in a bit of bother.

                One thing that should be said is that it's great to see David Pollock on the bench, hopefully we'll see him get a bit of gametime.

                15 - Mark Bartholomeusz; 14 - Tommy Bowe; 13 - Paul Steinmetz; 12 - Kevin Maggs; 11 - Paul McKenzie; 10 - Adam Larkin; 9 - Kieran Campbell; 1 - Justin Fitzpatrick; 2 - Paul Shields; 3 - Bryan Young; 4 - Justin Harrison (Captain); 5 - Tim Barker ; 6 -Stephen Ferris; 7 - Kieron Dawson; 8 - Roger Wilson;
                Replacements:
                16 - Stuart Philpott; 17 - Declan Fitzpatrick; 18 - Ryan Caldwell 19 - David Pollock ; 20 - Paul Marshall; 21 - Scott Young; 22 - Bryn Cunningham

                    Rightly so as well, he's a better captain than Best looking on from the outside, if nothing else our results back this up.
