    Bertie at Leicester game ??

Apologies if this is already in a previous post. I believe there is no business him going to the game. For years and years, Munster Rugby andits fans have been travelling all over Europe making a name and a reputation for themselves that is envied thorughout rugby circles, and for all the right reasons imo. The fact that there have been so many unique sporting occasions over the years to be proud of, many highs and lows, but always hugely sporting ones. I've never seen or heard Bertie mention Munster or go to a game ( I'm open to correction), but I just find this a complete joke and "glory-hunting" of the highest order. I'm not an advocate of booing, however I do hope the crowd demonstrates their view on genuine fans being robbed of tickets for voting-hunting idiots. I dont see any politician championing fans cases for cheaper travel to away games despite being ripped off left, right and centre on a regular basis. Maybe their energies would be better spent on seomthing worthwhile like this. I despair at the plans for Sat involving any politician ....

On a brighter note, I hope the record remains intact and the satdium that has brought such joy over the years gets its deserved place in the history books and gets gets the send off it deserves with a brilliant Munster win on Saturday - Allez les Rouges !!!

Bertie only brought 12 in with him, he paused in front of us at the gate and I made it a point of counting each of them as they slowly drove past. I hope it was caught on camera.

Kinda sums up the entire thing. Game yesterday was a circus. Bertie tops it off. Too many women at the game and gobs**tes for that matter who haven't a clue about rugby. We may think we are the most knowledgeable supporters in the world - we probably are but most of them were watching the game in bars in town as they couldn't get tickets.

A Wake Up Call all round.

    how am i running?

your argument would be a lot more credible if it wasnt for the fact that EVERY major politician wears make up. let me repeat for the 70th time EVERY major politician wears make up.God you'd swear he was the first to ever do it! kenny, rabbitte and God help is Higgins would do the exact same in his position.

and yes he is a great leader, thats why the good people of Ireland will vore his government back in for a 3rd term in the summer, deal with it.

on the other hand, it might help the branch secure gov funds or even
get the local area improved. FF'ers like granting improvements to the
townships they visit, like the Roman consuls they wish they were.

I'll toe the party line here and say it's taking a ticket out of the hand of someone who has a genuine interest in being there, and isn't using it for personal and professional gain.

Although this may be influenced by my own intense dislike of FF.
