Have Ard Scoil dropped to B? Has Hurling dominated that much in the school?

Just because you play the qualifier it doesn't make you a B school..

Just because you play the qualifier it doesn't automatically put you into the next round.

No one of the "A" schools will play one of the B or C schools who get through the qualifiers.
                  Same with previous years

here seems to be the situation. It applies to Junior Cup only.

Ard Scoil are supposed to be extremely weak, they lost most City cup matches by 30-60 points.

Bantry play St Clements, the winners goes through as the ‘Qualifer’. Both are supposed to be strong.

The loser then plays Ard Scoil, the winner of the qualifier loser and Ard Scoil goes through as Ard Scoil on the draw to play CBC

Sounds like ASR days as a A school are numbered. From what I have been told they are lacking in the resources to keep the show on the road. Can see a situation in the near future that there will be 3 A schools in Limerick, CCC, Munchins and Clements!!!
Its deja vu all over again!!!

ASR had PBC to the pin of their collar in the McCarthy cup semi final last week so you never know

that would be sad to hear considering how much talent the school has produced recently.

Could that be a good thing in the long term if anyone playing rugby there was then eligible for club rugby considering the issues in the city.

Why? The kids who want to play rugby will still be playing. No-one will lose out playing rugby

Do I have to explain to you why Ardscoil Ris not being a rugby powerhouse isn't good for munster rugby?
