9 of the 24 are from West Cork. Outside of the obvious, McCarthy is Skibbereen, O'Hea Clonakilty and Whycherly is Bantry.

Thats impressive. Its a very big area to tap into from a Munster and Ireland point of view. Credit to the clubs in the area.

The clubs down there are putting in massive work. Bantry Bay are a club who if they can keep a lot of these players and get them playing j1 could really progress in years to come.
Will be very interested to see the Japanese side play. Will see them play Connacht in Galway and depending on work may get to games in Dublin

Squads should be playing some games/have screening sessions ahead of break for exams. Any info on those?

Three squads (2 x 18's and 19s) are based in UL this year instead of Rockwell but the format is generally the same as previous years. 17's will do a day in UL and a day in CIT every week.

Matches are finished bar U18 schools trial v Connacht this weekend. I think all other squads for the summer are finalised already.

Thats great. Never liked use of Rockwell though its facilities made it very good.
Having all squads in UL using new facilities is great. Shows progression for players in every way in terms of if you work hard you make academy, senior squad and this is what they do.

Squad lists are never published. Only match day squads come interpro time.
