would hazard a guess that the BI Cup had something to do with it with a number of players from clubs involved

The situation in Limerick was that Garryowen sought an alternative date but this was rejected on appeal to North Munster Branch and Munster Branch, after this Garryowen decided not to play the game and give a walk over to Thomond on the Friday morning before the game.

Thomond will be presented via the Charity Cup I believe when they have the official opening of their renovated club house for the AIL game with Skerries on November 15th.

Judging by Garryowen's seconds team 82-nil loss in the seconds league earlier in the week, you can see why they didn't want to play if missing players.

Spot on, Garryowen claimed it was a health and safety issue,??????????????? totally bad form, FFS the money is for charity. Hope the branch slaps a hefty fine on them and donates this money in lieu of the gate.
