good healthy debate folks. I do agree id like either Garryowen or young Munster at home on Saturday an il defo go to it. which in fact works this coming season, where Garryowen are at home and cookies are away.

Clubs do need to do better for promoting games, shannon did great job last year, some clubs dont even tweet score updates, teamsheets day before would also help but teams dont tell the truth here.

    are folks on this forum:

hosting other events in club they will use to get bigger crowds at their game as a result.
expecting many clubs do do things like that for all tourist areas isnt going o happen when you look at how some clubs use their websites and social media ie very poorly.

Oh you're an intelligent man pk. I'm sure you can thi k of a few reasons. Be it other events club are hosting. Events in area they can use to get more people to attend eþc

Why don't they pick the date of the event to correspond with a home game rather than the other way around?

My intelligence, such as it is, is no match for the know-how of someone with an intimate knowledge of the ins and outs of Rugby Club life, such as yourself.

Senior cup draw made. Dont like format but at least it guarantees us a good crowd as we'll be facing cashel.

Terrible timing though for the first round of games, exact same time as Ireland play Wales.

They seem to be running it off with indecent haste.

Semi-Finals wrapped up then before AIL, Chairty cup starting weekend after coming, 24th, so there'll be two round of that first. Winning a charity cup quarter and the first two rounds of senior cup could mean teams playing games every week then before AIL. Not a bad preseason!!!

that's if you win your games. Senior cup shouldn't start until slightly later in season charity cup should be expanded to league format. Give senior cup higher priority later in season gives clubs several competitive games before league starts. Win win

I've looked for lot to change in certain areas.
but this can all change if clubs want it to
We're only province not to have a league based competition before AIL starts. Senior cup shouldn't be played in September. Should start far later even with having to have abtram ready for Bateman cup.

Would agree with the Charity Cup on a league format as this would take away the need to run off the Munster Cup in September. Also take away the hassle of organising friendly or joint training sessions in August/September window.
Its deja vu all over again!!!

clubs would still be playing organising friendlies but could use them for additional players and try different things

We beat Bohs last week in Charity Cup and lost to Munster's last night
Crescent beat Shannon and Bruff beat Garryowen in other quarters.
Young Munster play winners of crescent and bruff, who play tomorrow, in the final
