This would mean that 2 Limerick schools would play each other in Cork and a Limerick school drawn at home would lose their home advantage. Let hope common sense prevails and if Thomond Park is unavailable for whatever reason an alternative venue in Limerick will be found for the games.
Should early round games be played in Thomond/Musgrave?
Surely it should be limited to just semi finals and finals.

Bit harsh to just say scholarships. Whatever about senior but junior as well.
Christians are in harty as well not sure how scholarships played role in all their success..

ID:	2559432Yea, schools rugby in munster is very skewed toward the 2 rugby playing schools of Cork.
Wouldnt you expect it to be. Theyre big schools. Bigger in terms of Male pupils than any others. Corks bigger city yet just two rugby schools not like the number of schools in smaller city so theyve greater spread of pupils to pick from...

Castletroy beat Ard Scoil this afternoon in their JC QF. 26-15, never really in doubt after taking a 21-0 lead, AS pulled it back to 21-10 before a 4th try halfway in to the 2nd half sealed it.

Theyre a very handy side. Mainly Creggs RFC players but few others as well. An international and few others capped provincially.
Will be underdogs for final against Garbally who beat Sligo Grammar 36-10 yesterday

No rugby there in my day!
But has got very strong in the last few years. Good for Connacht rugby to expand the hinterland.

Was at this today. Bandon will rightly feel they left this behind. Unlucky when conceding the first try to Pres, they spilt a ball at half way when running it out (against a strong wind), the Pres sub picked the ball up cleanly and showed a great burst of speed to make it to the try line. Bandon replied more or less immediately with a converted try to go 6 points up with only 4 mins left. Credit to Pres who managed to reply with a try from their No 8 (Kendelen) which was converted as time was up.

The game was restarted and Pres secured possession, for some reason the chose to go into contact rather than kick it dead. Bandon secured the ball then for a number of minutes, before Pres got it again and again didn't kick it dead. Bandon then had more possession until Pres got it for a 3rd time in additional time when they then kicked to touch to end the game. There was 6 or 7 minutes of play involved in these passages of play.

The Bandon fullback looked like a very nice player, some very good balanced running.

The final is on Paddy's Day at 4pm, between Pres and Christians. Both teams are tied at the top of the honours list with 29 titles each at the moment (I think).

Going to be a great game i'd say, Eir Sport are showing it live. You never know with these two who will win but on form you would imagine CBC will win it
