Way past my bedtime.
Where is it coming form this time?
And RTE are investing so much time into it they clearly didn't have time to get to update the shows webpage...

I will be stuck in a hotel room in Waterford - must remember to bring my DVD collection, if this is to be the highlight of TV viewing.

It is being recorded Tuesday night in Portadown RFC, Co. Armagh.
The show is embarrassingly bad. About 25minutes of drivel with 5 minutes of rugby. I could go to any pub for that!
To see the light one must first realise it is dark
Haven't seen it yet, so I'll probably tune in. What is the format?
Knew I'd forgotten something last night. Ah well, sounds like I didn't miss much.
4 Feb 2011 - Gilmore on the General Election
"Frankfurts way or Labours way."
28 Feb 2012 - Gilmore on a yes vote for the fiscal treaty
"A vote for economic stability and a vote for economic recovery."

He was as lame as a duck. Not the metaphorical lame duck either, but a real duck that was actually lame. Maybe from stepping on a land mine or something.

It was pure s**t
An audience of bitter twisted people
Whole heartedly agree. It's become the 'Why did you say that George show?', followed by Hook slagging off one province to appease another. Pure drivel!Originally Posted by UncleMonty

The video clips on the UAFC site are of excellent quality.
He's a knob (the plank)

George and Brent seem to really dislike each other. Cant see the show lasting if that continues. As for the Plank he is a complete tosser.
The biggest problem with the show is they're expecting Hook and Pope to be both host and panelist, which they just can't do. You can almost hear the cogs whirring in George's head as he tries to wind up his exigesis on something or other in time to make the next link. There's a good reason why these shows are normally hosted by some know-nothing whose only job is to keep the whole thing running to time.
why? only saw the second half of the program and he seemed fine to me. easy to see why he's a favourite with the fans. still think he's a tool on the field but that's a separate issue.Originally Posted by sewa
