Just a reminder the Hook & Pope roadshow is on again tomorrow.

due to dive-ball being on, the roadshow is limited to 30minutes at 22:30.

And RTE are investing so much time into it they clearly didn't have time to get to update the shows webpage...

I will be stuck in a hotel room in Waterford - must remember to bring my DVD collection, if this is to be the highlight of TV viewing.

The show is embarrassingly bad. About 25minutes of drivel with 5 minutes of rugby. I could go to any pub for that!

Knew I'd forgotten something last night. Ah well, sounds like I didn't miss much.

28 Feb 2012 - Gilmore on a yes vote for the fiscal treaty

He was as lame as a duck. Not the metaphorical lame duck either, but a real duck that was actually lame. Maybe from stepping on a land mine or something.

Whole heartedly agree. It's become the 'Why did you say that George show?', followed by Hook slagging off one province to appease another. Pure drivel!

Have to agree with ye lads. Sorry to say it but that audience were as bitter as they come. Some of the humour is utter cringe worthy, and the interview with the Plank wasn't an interview, it was a slagging match, to which the Plank contributeda lot to. Nothing of interest came out of it.

George and Brent seem to really dislike each other. Cant see the show lasting if that continues. As for the Plank he is a complete tosser.

The biggest problem with the show is they're expecting Hook and Pope to be both host and panelist, which they just can't do. You can almost hear the cogs whirring in George's head as he tries to wind up his exigesis on something or other in time to make the next link. There's a good reason why these shows are normally hosted by some know-nothing whose only job is to keep the whole thing running to time.

why? only saw the second half of the program and he seemed fine to me. easy to see why he's a favourite with the fans. still think he's a tool on the field but that's a separate issue.

Came across as a smart arse. His comment about "Shane Horgan wanted to see what a real athlete looked like" while it was funny made me think he missed the real joke which was that he ended up yellow carded.
