And to little surprise, they're getting it wrong.

Firstly - Just knock the bloody thing and built it back up by scratch. Why the hell is there any need to do it bit by bit? We have Pairc Ui Rinn for league games and most home football championship games except Kerry.

Secondly, they're putting the entire thing at great risk by tying it to his hapless excuse of a centre of excellence. Cork is the biggest GAA county in the country, will have about 20 plus intercounty/development teams in both codes, and the senile gob****es putting this thing together have decided on a centre of excellence (in the most inaccessible part of the city) with only one pitch.

When you look at the amount of hassle they have gone to in getting the land, and the hassle they have created themselves with this, you wonder if people with more cop on and know how would have put 2 and 2 together and realised building a new stadium at Curraheen or similar location, or at the very lease a proper centre of excellence out there.

Dubh Linn getting a bit of a torrid time from Maigh Eó at the mo.

What is the bainisteoir going to say to the Dubs at HT? Has Horan's men got their measure?

Best game of football I've seen in a while, even if ref is missing a few things too.

Agreed. It's keeping me indoors watching the TV - on one of the sunniest and warmest days of the year .

Dublin usually prefer to attack the Hill end in the second half, but it's still a big ask for them, if Mayo can just keep going.

Don't rule out another Cluxton winner at the death!

Only 2 points on the scoreboard now, everything going (incl. a few dodgy decisions) Dubs way now.

Whichever way this goes, there's going to be a lot of talk of the turning point. Taking a man out is one thing, but when you take 3 together...... (and the cards were even there...).

I'd say we could see 7 or 8 mins ET.

Can't see the Dubs not overhauling the poor lads from the Wesht now.

McManaman had a goal on there for a mo; should not a professional foul like that garner at least a yellow (3....?).

All over now, but very sloppy finish to what was a great game early on.

Donagal v. Mayo final to come in a few weeks.

God the Dubs are seriously dirty b*****ds, delighted aswell.
For the first time in years I'll be equally delighted for whichever team wins the final now.
Heres hoping Galway can do something special again next weekend aswell.

Excellent Game of Football. Dublin had the winning of that Game at the end. Mayo missed Three Goal's and The Ref missed everything. Fabulous entertainment. Congratulations Mayo.

Varley was being checked out for a suspected broken nose after a cheap shot from a Dub, then the home crowd booed him relentlessly as he was being taken off!!

Think it's easy to decide which is more dislikeable!!

Agree on the ref by the way - brutal

Martin McHugh has put me totally off Donegal winning anyway, insufferable gob****e - apparently Cork were arrogant in simply allowing club games go ahead last weekend. The way they're going on you'd swear they were some minnow, they're a massive county who've won an AI in the last 20 years (same length of time Cork went without winning one in 2010) and could badly do with getting a grip of themselves. They've only reached this stage by bringing football down to its lowest common denominator.

Would much prefer to see Mayo winning due to how long its been and the losses of the last few years. Donegal have actually done nothing that Mayo haven't in the past two years but are deemed a much better side for some reason, which is kind of strange.

Would agree with the diving though, its something i clearly noticed in their 4 games against Cork in the last two years. There seems to be a small few like Vaughan that really rip the piss out of it.

They played some entertaining stuff because Cork played old style, man on man marking which gave Donegal oceans of space to attack. When you see how Mayo set up against them you'll see what a breath of fresh air this crock of ****e is. It will have brought the sport to a level where meaningful skill levels have become completely irrelevant.

And i really fail to see what Donegal have done which Mayo haven't except fail the generate the same degree of uncontrolled fawning and hyperbole. Both have got two provincial titles in a row, both have beaten perceived favourites (Mayo managed that one a year before Donegal did), and Mayo have reached a league final. Mayo are actually much closer to the path Dublin took than Donegal are. And you can say today was Mayo's final after the way Donegal celebrated their last two wins is hilarious. If anyone will find it hard to have juice left for the final it will be Donegal.

One major advantage Mayo have is that they're after beating a team that plays an established packed defence system, and showed that they can not alone attack it but defend against it. Donegal have beaten two teams who play football which has been shown up as outdated. Whoever was going to win todays game was always going to be much more suited to playing Donegal than either Cork or Kerry, who failed to set up their defences to deal with inevitable counter attacks.

I predict that this is going to be a very dour final from a footballing point of view, with two packed defences. I would hope it might prove a catalyst for a real look at the sport, but with so many comments like the above and hilariously off the wall comparisons between Donegal and Barcelona, i won't hold my breath.

Very poor game with little to no quality on show but it was a highly exciting game for the last 20 mins or so. Dublin are a poor team, probably the poorest team to win an AI in the last 15/20 years. Mayo really need to get their act together around the middle of the field if they harbour any hopes of beating Donegal.

One thing that has become very evident over the last 2/3 years is that once you reach last 4 stage it is virtually impossible to get yourself sent off, players know this and act accordingly. Refs will not send off anybody as they know they will face untold dogs abuse for some fella "missing the biggest game of his life" and the red card will ultimately be overturned. The cycnical fouling has gotten out of hand and urgently needs a sinbin to deal with it.

On Mayo's perceived playacting, they had one lad with a bady broken finger (did we really need to see so many up close tv shots of it?), one lad with a broken nose and a jackeen swinging off of him when he was on the ground pumping blood and another lad pouring blood from a head wound. Now to be fair 2 out of those 3 serious injuries were accidental. The corner back was badly hit with cramp which happens which lead me on to again to the rule book, either stop the clock or play on as in rugby, that wont be long in weeding out the time wasters.

Funny how the Dubs are moaning about timewasting when Cluxton took nearly 2 minutes in last years final to take the last free!!!

I wouldnt say its sad for him, he has had a large amount of success given the players at his disposal to be fair to him, he comes across as being very genuine with no bull whatsoever out of him. The workload these days on managers is just incredible and the fact he has spent 4 years at it says a lot about him.

Jason Ryan has called it a day in Wexford too, Cork could do a hell of a lot worse than to consider him.
