Does anybody have any idea how the IRFU are distributing the tickets this time round with 30K more to go round than normal? Ticketmaster, clubs still getting same ratio, visiting team getting same ratio etc etc????

Will the GAA be getting an allocation one may even ask. I can see every club in the country, down the sticks anyway, tapping into their local rugby club for favours

This is shaping up to be the most looked forward to 6n in many many years from our perspective anyway. Demand will not be a problem in filling the place, but in the case of England, one would hate to see the big clubs in particular sell off their allocation to the highest bidder thereby negating what should be a huge home advantage.

Shag the gaa there already getting well paid for using croker. This is a rugby international and so instead of sending tickets to gaa clubs give the rugby clubs and munster,Leinster,Ulster and Connaught branches a bigger allocation of tickets.Get the real rugby fans in there and not people who only want to be there for the ocasion

GAA clubs will not be getting an allocation. And why should they? They're getting a pretty sweet deal of €1.5m a game in rent.

But the Premium Seat holders in CP, as Corker said, get first call on their seats.

the majority of fans going to watch the matches will also be gaa fans as well,so how do you draw the line between "real" fans and gaa supporters anyway.

also if the gaa did want an allocation they'd be entitled to demand, there house, there rules.we should be grateful

Looks like they'll leave as is. Prices for terrace tickets are quoted on the IRFU site.

Just like they do for concerts. I'd imagine from a legal standpoint, to not give them first option on tickets for the rugby/soccer might be a bit shaky. €6,800 for a 5 year ticket by the way, if anyones interested. Could work out cheap at that price.

Is that the closest they could get to the venue without actually leaving the Southside?

€295.... I'm almost thinking of paying that...
I must not fear.
Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain

You might well be right, though when they bought those tickets there was no rule barring concerts, only Rugby and Soccer. So it could also have been fair to say that they bought them for allowed events only. Anyway, as long as the FAI and IRFU get the money in for them, they'll probably get over it !

Well as it stands, rugby and soccer are "allowed" events in so far as they have only been granted access for 2007. Think of them as concerts without music and dancing!
