That's exactly how I feel, never liked them, they stuffed us in too many senior cups for that, but certainly respected them. A great club, hope they get it together again soon.

Well unless he is trying to pull a fast one and get his place back with shannon! Forms were signed by richmond so he had to hand them back to shannon interesting to see what happens...

Our 10 is playing pretty well so i cant see him walking on to the team if he is allowed to play by the branch with deadlines.

Be interesting alright, would be a great acquistion and GM was over him at Shannon 20s so has connection there already

That is a shock as BS was thought to be a great talent. If Shannon dont win today in what will be a tough away trip, then heads will have to roll! The Sargeant's are a big Shannon family, so there must be something wrong if he has decided to leave for Richmond!

Shannon concede a penalty try at the death to lose 45-13 to Belvo.
On the internet, you can be anything you want. It always amazes me why so many people choose to be stupid.

First off, I don't know if he is switching clubs for a fact.

If he is, he has, as far as I know, till Dec 31 to do so. However, he cannot play AIL for anyone else this season. The talk on here is of him joining Richmond, so he could play in the Munster Junior league all right. Or friendlies for another local senior club. Or seconds league, junior cup etc. basically local (Munster) competitions.

If he were to move residence, to say Dublin, I'm not sure what the story would be there in terms of AIL. I'd say he probably could play in that scenario (despite having played for Shannon already in the competition) as I'm pretty sure that has happened before (with Shane Leahy).

Just to say again, I'm not fuelling any rumours here. I don't have a notion as to what his intentions are, just answering your question as best I can.

So who's gone in in his stead? They'd hardly let him go unless they had someone to take over?
