Interesting combination of people there - part surprised by Henry Hill but also part suprised he lived this long considering the ****e life he lived. I've watched a couple of episodes of Swamp People and could never make out are those 2 putting some of it on - a lot of those American reality shows are known to be faked to an extent - I just couldn't believe they could really be that stereotyped. And Stevenson has to rank alongside the likes of Redgrave as an all time Olympic great. (Personally I don't count swimmers who win 6 medals at one games as being the same as these guys winning medals at 4 or 5 games. As Michael Johnson once said, if he was allowed to run the 200m in 5 different ways he'd get 5 different golds.)

Wales lost 2 far too young sportsmen over the weekend and also an actor / singer -

The young welsh rally star, Gareth Roberts was killed in Sicilly on Saturday - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-18470464

The young Surrey cricketer, Tom Maynard (son of Matthew) died this morning after being hit by a tube train - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-18492564

And Brian Hibbard, actor and former lead singer of the Flying Pickets also died after suffering from prostate cancer - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-18489401

All three far too young to have passed away. Cysgwch yn dawel.

Horror actor Richard Lynch dies aged 76

US actor Richard Lynch, a horror movie staple who employed his scarred face to play villainous characters, has died in Palm Springs, California aged 76.
The ex-Marine's films included 1973's Scarecrow, 1988's Little Nikita and Rob Zombie's 2007 remake of Halloween.
"Richard was great to work with and really gave it his all," the director wrote on his Facebook page.
Lynch's face was permanently scarred in 1967 when he took LSD and set himself on fire in New York's Central Park.

He was as lame as a duck. Not the metaphorical lame duck either, but a real duck that was actually lame. Maybe from stepping on a land mine or something.

Ooh freaky, I was just thinking about his TV show yesterday for the first time in donkey's years, the one with the opening sequence with the close up on the trumpet being played.

    I'm sure it's a sign.

Very sad, they should have given him a knighthood instead of that over-rated preener Bruce Forsyth. Sadly unlike him Sykes didn't make a meal of what he did, as a result few realise how much of Spike Milligan's success was achieved with him.
