That is a very, very strong Ulster team. Fez at 8 will be worth a look.
    I must not fear.
    Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
    I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
    Only I will remain

That's probably the strongest HEC team outside France [with the possible exception of Saracens]- and a reasonably good bench too. For me Los Todgeros Blancos are a sure thing for the HEC Final in the Aviva next May - I'm so pleased that I bought 6 HEC Final tickets back in May!

What games are people looking forward to this weekend?

    Quins v BO
    Toulouse v Leicester

Zebres v Connacht. Connacht's first game in the HEC where they start as favourites! Interesting to hear how Eric and Muldoon approach that one after watching The West Awake during the week.

According to the ERC site, that's only being broadcast on Sky Italia. Clashes with our game as well. Hopefully there'll be a red button option, but I don't think you can record from that anyway.

Interesting to see highly rated 19 year old Samson Lee start at tighthead for the Scarlets against Clermont. Its been reported that he is comes from an Irish traveller family.

Not that it's promising to be any good or anything, but if anyone else is interested here is the line up for the Sale v Cardiff Game. Not holding out much hope for Cardiff, Sale are at the bottom of the premiership but Cardiff have lost both Jason Tovey and Rhys Patchell to injury and since then taken some heavy defeats at home. They have gone with Ceri Sweeney as FH and Gareth Davies is on the bench - the only options left really (I would have started Davies)

Ex Munster Mushy and Tuitupou starting for Sale. So is mr Plow.

    Sale Sharks v Cardiff Blues
    Sunday 14th October 2012, Kick-off 12:45
    15. Rob Miller, 14. Mark Jennings, 13. Will Addison, 12. Sam Tuitupou, 11. Mark Cueto, 10. Nick MacLeod, 9. Nathan Fowles, 1. Eifion Lewis-Roberts, 2. Tommy Taylor, 3. Tony Buckley, 4. Richie Gray, 5. Fraser McKenzie, 6. Richie Vernon, 7. David Seymour, 8. Andy Powell,
    16. Joe Ward, 17. Ross Harrison, 18. Vadim Cobilas, 19. Kearnan Myall, 20. James Gaskell, 21. Cillian Willis, 22. Danny Cipriani, 23. Johnny Leota,

He was Jiffy's man of the match last week for the Scarlets - a tough scrummager. Looks a real beast - fair dues to him for opting for rugby rather than bare knuckle fighting. If he has Irish blood then the IRFU should move in pronto - it'll be very interesting to see him taking on the Leinster front row in the HEC.

You can record off the red button from Sky Sports (at least with Sky+ you can). However, I checked last night and this match is not being shown on the red button either.

Early pressure on Ulster, a couple of penalties conceded inside the first 5 minutes including one at the scrum. Hopefully they're just finding their feet.

No one watched the Scarlets - Clermont clash? Amazing! Loads of tries, red and yellow cards, etc. Big win for CA, but game of the weekend, thus far.
