With a 2.30 ko, you'd want to be leaving by 1pm, so I'm not sure there'll be time for lunch, unless you were to head out there for noon and have lunch near the ground ?

You are supposed to organize these things. There surely is a decent restaurant near the stadium.

Have your breakfast at 6am, and then lunch at midday. Sorted.

I have not found one yet. Terminus Nord will sort you out. It is the same owners as Bofinger.

There's a grand bar in the square opposite the basillica and the food isn't bad, usual French cafe fair , omelettes , quiche, croque Madame and the wine is good value. Get a seat outside and watch all the couples getting we'd in the Hotel de Ville which is also opposite. As St Denis is quite a mosaic of cultures all the different weddings are a great site !

Of course a nice fresh jambons and a couple of 1664's on a bench by the Canal on a nice sunny day is enjoyable.

Anyone know of any kid friendly places? Bringing my two lads (10 + 13) down from Lille for the game!

    Cheers,

    M.

Getting from Place de Clichy to Stade de France will take a bit of time - anybody got a good indication?

15-20 minutes, Line 13 on the Metro direct to Saint-Denis – Porte de Paris which is beside the Stade de France.

I presume the pub chosen has wifi.. Maybe a dumb question, but hey... Why break with tradition....

Not at all. There's a direct line which brings you in 15min at the stadium.

Had this line in 2010 while fully packed with drum playing Biaritz fans.

Quote from my buddy from Limerick in Paris: "what Sulli's don't show you next door is the Moulin Rouge, its right in the red light district. A pretty dodgy area, makes limerick look like beverly hills"

    You gotta love it...
To Infinity, Montpellier & Beyond...actually scratch that, there's nowhere harder to get to than Montpellier...

If you go further down towards Pigalle, it's the red light district alright. Between Blanche & Place de Clichy it's OK

Ta Kermit. Missus Buzzyear will greatly appreciate that clarification, I'd gladly show her the post except I fear the kermit & i_l_c avatars might undermine the well intentioned reassurance.

Not a fan of O'Sullivan either but the place is large enough if you need to pack in a lot of people.
Irish Pubs in Paris in general have gone down the dumps IMO. I used to enjoy Coolins though but I haven't been there in while.

Pigalle is absolutely no trouble, just a few sex shops but the place has been cleaned up, it is not dodgy like it used to be. If you look around you will find a number of nice little "bars ā vin", I advise that against a stale overpriced pint of what you easily drink at home.
