Was at the game, but only got a chance to post now!
Firstly, Dragons are an average side, and we spent a good deal opf the game in our own half. A lot of sevens stuff when a more considered approach would be warranted.
However.....
We have serious, and I mean serious, attacking weaponry accross the back seven and even off the bench. Thought Earls, Zebo and Keatley were electric runners.
We also seem to have developed great athleticism among our forwards; the sight of Doc2 and Ronan breaking through the middle and Foley and Holland giving one-handed offloads was a sight to behold. Butler's talent is finally beginning to emerge.
It's amazing how Donners and Holland have rejuvenated their careers; says a lot about this coaching ticket.
Finally, we are developing serious depth in the squad; some selection headaches lie ahead.
We're far from the finished article, but we are now a joy to watch.
Roll on the rest of the season.
Have only viewed the highlights so far and the biggest difference for me was Zebo's passing and offloading, he has been weak on this since he came into the team but now he looks to have upskilled and raised his awareness of space and of others. Could no longer be accused of being selfish.

He was as lame as a duck. Not the metaphorical lame duck either, but a real duck that was actually lame. Maybe from stepping on a land mine or something.
Good post. I though the scoreline flattered us a bit. The tries were superb but we were very aimless for about 30 mins of the first half and a good portion of the second half. Having said that, the Dragons were very poor and probably dragged us down to their level at times.
I feel that Zebo is going to be superb for us this season. He runs some great lines and seems to be exceptionally strong under a high ball. Dave Foley looks the real deal also, probably still a bit skinny but he has great hands and incredible speed for a guy his size. Really looking forwards to the next game.

Broken ankle may end Lydiate's season
Rugby: Wales flanker Dan Lydiate could miss the rest of the season after breaking his ankle playing for the Newport-Gwent Dragons against Edinburgh on Friday night, jeopardising his chances of making the British and Irish Lions tour of Australia next year.
The 24-year-old, who was named the Six Nations player of the tournament earlier this year as Wales swept to another Grand Slam, hobbled off after three minutes of the Dragons' 32-12 home win in the Pro 12 league.
“Sadly Dan has been taken to hospital after breaking and dislocating his ankle and will undergo surgery on Sunday morning,” confirmed Dragons team manager Rob Beale after the win. “It’s a serious injury that requires surgery and he will be out for some time.”
The Dragons did not say how long the tough tackling flanker will be out of action for but the severity of the injury means he is highly unlikely to play in the November and December Tests against New Zealand, Australia, Argentina and Samoa or the Six Nations, which starts in February.
Lydiate, who has 27 Welsh caps, was expected to earn one of the highly competitive backrow places for next June’s 10-match Lions tour, which features three Tests against the Wallabies.

I am the million man.
Was it the same ankle Cowboy? I was shocked he was playing last week. Whatever about a player turning an ankle during a match, getting it strapped up, and playing on (we've all done it), Lydiate looked like he was properly from the start. If memory serves, his ankle was strapped up from the start of the match, and I thought it was mad that he was playing.
I really hope these aren't related. It would raise serious questions IF it were the case (hopefully it was his other ankle and not in any way related to a previous injury)
Tough luck on a fine player. Hope he gets a shot at making a Lions claim.
