    Munster V Edinburgh Tickets update

    From the MRSC newsletter

    Plenty of tickets available for this game.

    MUNSTER -v- EDINBURGH, Thomond Park, Sunday 21 October at 12.45

    All members of the Supporters Club have either purchased, or were offered the opportunity to purchase, a Heineken Cup season ticket during the renewal period in April.

    The ERC rules regarding the allocation of tickets to the away club in the Heineken Cup group matches have recently been changed. The away club is now entitled to 10% of the stadium capacity. In previous seasons the away club was entitled to 15% of the capacity.

    Due to this change in the rules additional tickets have now been released to the Supporters Club for the match against Edinburgh.

    All Full and Associates members can now purchase up to 4 tickets each. Tickets are available on a first come first serve basis and will remain available until Monday 1st October at 12 noon unless previously sold out.

    Tickets are priced as follows;

    Category A Seated : €50
    Category B Seated : €40
    Terrace Standing : €30

    A standard transaction fee of €2.50 will apply and all tickets will be posted.

    To purchase;

    - Enter your Membership ID number and password at top right hand corner of page.
    - Click Tickets

    If you have forgotten your password simply click the Forgotten Your Password tab in the member log in section at top right hand corner of page and it will be emailed to you.

    ERC have changed the rule where the away team only get 10% now from the old rule of 15%,hopefully it will allow most folks to get sorted now.

    Taz-Where did you get that information as I have seen nowhere that he(Penney) was ruled out?
    Editor - The writer stands by the Penney information.

    - This article originally said Rob Penney had missed out on the Munster coaching job. That information was incorrect.

    Sorted.

    Young lad better be grateful it means he will get to go to this game after all so he can get that sulky look (should have seen his face this morn) off his face right away.

    Good news for the home matches but could mean problems when it comes to away fixture allocation, the Saracens game in Watford will be an issue now with Munster only getting approx 1,800 tickets.

    What's the justification behind 2,50 per ticket surcharge? Who gets that?

    Please help!

    Does anyone know how i can get 2 tickets for the Munster v Edinburgh game on October 21st 2012?

    I'm not a Supporters Club member (so can't get them that way), i'm actually from Australia and just trying to get tickets for my boyfriend for his bday as he'll be back home in Ireland for a visit in a few weeks and i know he's a crazy Munster fan...

    Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

    I don't mean to sidetrack the conversation but I'm visiting Ireland from the U.S. and stopping by Limerick to watch a match. I'm a huge Munster fan and want to get as much of the game day experience as I can. Unfortunately they don't offer game day tours of the stadium but I will for sure check out the museum. Do you guys have any suggestions on pubs to go to prior to the match where we could hang out with fellow Munster supporters? Thanks for any suggestions you can offer. Slainte.

    Hi David, welcome to the site, see here for info on what to do, where to go etc. I'd be confident that you'll pick up tickets, if you want to watch a match. Ask around when you get there.
