Taz-Where did you get that information as I have seen nowhere that he(Penney) was ruled out?
Editor - The writer stands by the Penney information.

Editor-- This article originally said Rob Penney had missed out on the Munster coaching job. That information was incorrect.
wooohooo gwan..London welsh. ...highlighting just how good the AP is at a shared stadium near you from today
If the lessons of history teach us anything it is that nobody learns the lessons that history teaches us.
Good to see an even more boring than normal Tigers side beaten![]()
David Wallace, James Coughlan - Heroes, Jonathan Davies
Hopefully, the revolting Payne will get a long suspension for his latest bit of scummery (a double knee drop onto Artemymev). He's a nasty bit of work - reminds me of another prop whose name escapes me.

Andy Powell also in trouble for using industrial language and Stringeresque hand gestures at Bath supporters.

Sale Sharks: Andy Powell fined and Tom Brady banned
Sale Sharks number eight Andy Powell has been fined £5,000 after admitting using foul language and making an offensive hand gesture to spectators.
The incident happened during his side's 31-10 Premiership defeat at Bath, although £4,000 of Powell's fine is suspended until the end of the season.
Sale winger Tom Brady has been banned for two games after being found guilty of committing a dangerous tackle.
It follows a challenge from Brady on Bath number eight Ben Skirving.
The defeat kept Sale, who have lost all five matches this season, bottom of the Premiership table.
Both players attended a Rugby Football Union disciplinary hearing in Leeds on Tuesday.
he only got 2 weeks.

Wasps' Tim Payne banned for kneeing opponent
Wasps prop Tim Payne has been suspended for two weeks after pleading guilty to striking Northampton Saints winger Vasily Artemyev with his knee.
Payne, 33, was sin-binned for the incident, which occurred in Saturday's defeat by the Saints.
He will miss this weekend's Premiership clash against Worcester and the European Challenge Cup visit of Newport-Gwent Dragons the week after.
He has played in all five Premiership fixtures for Wasps this season.
Dan Hipkiss just got sent off from the sin bin for one of the dumbest things I've ever seen on a rugby field.
Hipkiss, who was yellow carded 8 minutes before, jumped up from his seat to catch a clearance kick to prevent Exeter from taking a quick lineout. Straight red card. What a moron.
To The Brave and the Faithful, Nothing is Unpublishable.
It was second yellow. He jumped up from his seat to make contact with the ball but also seemed to be making an effort to stay within the Bath technical area (the lined off area around the bemch). I wonder was he thinking if the ball comes into the technical area is it fair game? Either way it was cynical and/or stupid.
Glos 27 Leic 21. Exciting finish, glos did well to hang on
Excellent game between Leicester and Gloucester. The rabo league is a complete bore in comparison
"That's what's difficult. You know that O'Connell is going to be the one that will jump for the ball but you still don't manage to steal it. It's kind of annoying
"I talked about it with the Toulouse players, my final in 2006 and theirs in 2008 against Munster. I was marking Paul O'Connell and they were man-marking him too. We knew he was going to jump. But I remember I was in really good condition, with a good lift, but every time I just missed it."

Just watched it - and the Bath game (would someone please please please PLEASE kill Mark Robson?) - two excellent games, although Exeter would probably have won if they had started playing at the kickoff, rather than after 40 minutes.
L V G was very well refereed by J P Doyle - although I thought that he should have awarded Leicester a penalty try. (As should Glenn Jackson in the ITM Cup final earlier yesterday). I'm very annoyed that Cockerell didn't bring on the cavalry for the last 10 minutes - Leicester were out on their feet after the 6 day turnaround.
I'm about to watch the London Irish game - if it's not worth watching would someone warn me immediately, please?
A game that good in the premiership is rare enough too. Look at the fireworks Leinster put on for Halloween last night. I watched LI v Harlequins and it was boring with very poor standard of rugby. Ah, it livened up towards the end because of the score. By the way, if the same TMO had been in Paris, he would have given Paulies non try. Not too impressed with TOL either. Looked much the same as he ahs done here for some time and taken off at half time. I found it so boring I skived off to watch a Nigelissima I had recorded and just checked back for the final score and saw what happened.
Hello friends in Brussels. Baldy here
still better then Munster v Zebre, Ulster v Dragons and Leinster v Cardiff.
The Rabo as a product has too many teams who arent good enough, dont try and some who decide when and when they'll turn up.
At least the GP has two teams in any televised match who are going 100% for the win. Not saying there arent bad matches or the standard is great.
But at least watching it the contest is 100% full blooded. I'd say Magners are thanking their lucky stars

"Live to win. Born to lose"
With all the technical changes been made in MF can froggy put in place a system where if someone makes same point for the 50th time their avatar changes to a broken record for a month.
A poor enough game, right enough - LI, though brave, were frustratingly inaccurate. It's a pity you didn't watch the Bath - Exeter or Glaws - Leicester games this weekend though, because if you had, then presumably you'd have realised how much ridicule your opening sentence warrants. (And putting up Leinster's unopposed training session in the RDS on Saturday night as a valid comparison is a bit rich!)
Agreed OD - saw Bath/Exeter and Glaws/Tigers. Both excellent games
I haven't taken my Christmas lights down. They look so nice on the pumpkin
Tigers vs Saints .....return of Calum Clarke......this could be a bit spicy.
I thought ESPN was free with sky sports. I have it.
Try Channel 417
The first pship game I've watched in ages....OD i thought you said this was good viewingnote - "viewing" in US in yank term for wake.
Gloucester v Sale on ESPN now, Cipriani is fairly shocking while his opposite number Freddie Burns can't miss a kick. Burns really is the on fire and up there as one of the best 10's in club rugby this season
