Or that Reading is their home stadium anyway, they didn't move anything.
The reason that is it on at Vickerage Road is simple, they didnt get the deal they were looking for in renting out anywhere else.

So maybe Vicarage Road is the correct choice as I dont think the wife, the kids, the dog , next door's kids, would fancy a weekend in London in cold December.
We can try to arrange a ticket pool on here so if I'm not going, for example, I can get my ticket for someone who needs another one to add to their own

I'm sorted anyway, as my sister lives about 20 mins down the road, as you know. I actually passed by VR last month as I have relatives living a few streets away from the ground.

it's in London though, so we probably would, as there'll be plenty of irish who'll want to go for the day out.

That would be good, I'm living in London and will be going to game but might struggle for tickets now if they are more limited. Any spare ticket would be good.

I Was still in 2 minds about the sarries game, but if it's going to be that much hassle to get a ticket then the decision is made for me.
Edinburgh will be the only away HEC pool game for me this season.. booked for the whole weekend ages ago. flying over on the friday & back on the Monday.

Half thinking about not booking a hotel and doing the round trip, arriving into Stansted early morning, heading back there, sleeping in the airport and going back Monday.

Is Watford easy to get to from Liverpool St?

Firstly, we'd just like to say we are looking forward to welcoming everyone back to the London area for the game in December. We are already busy planning some events for that weekend for Munster fans that will be in the area.

There are a number of options to get to Watford from London:

1: from Euston By Train (Over Ground)Watford Junction Station (15-20 minutes' walk from the ground) is 20 minutes on a fast train from Euston, or it takes longer out to Watford High Street Station (5-10 minutes' walk from the ground) on a 'slow' train from Euston, as it makes all the local stops

2: 30 minutes from Baker Street By Tube
Watford Metropolitan Line station is a 10 minutes walk from the stadium. Train services from Baker Street and the journey time is about 40 minutes

*At the moment there is no planned engineering works affecting any of the above for the weekend. We will update this info closer to the time.

As for your specific query Muckier Boots, youd' take the tube from Liverpool Street, it would prob be about 1 hour of tube time, and 10-15 minutes walk to the ground.

It looks like my earlier answer of 15% was not correct.

It appears the rules have been changed and the away team is now only entitled to 10% of the allocation.

I actually did book the wife and kids to London for this one, as I though a weekend in London the week before Christmas would be ideal for the girls. We could all then go to the Munster match on the Sunday, as it was going to be staged in a large central London venue. So no looking forward for the usual scramble for away tickets in a small stadium. Many may not travel, but there are certainly enough Munster supporters in London to take the whole allocation.

I thought once tickets were sold for the venue then the venue cant be change willy nilly and afaik Saracens have offered their season tickets holders this game as being in Vicarage Rd.

It's been on the Saracens website for a week that it it is Vickerage Road and that it is part of their season ticket book. They apologized for the delay in "this season of transition". It's a done deal.

Small boys in the park. Jumpers for goal posts. Rush goalie. Two at the back, three in the middle, four up front, one's gone home for his tea. Beans on toast? Possibly, don't quote me on that. Marvellous.

I must book a hotel for this game. I am thinking of the Mercure in either Bloomsbury, Kensington or Paddington.

    Which area would be best?

Paddington is very handy for transport links. Are you coming in via west Wales?

    From Holyhead into Euston.

Looks like Kensington is handy enough for the match and easy enough on the Tube. If you don't have one, buy an Oyster card for London transport. Seriously handy and you can get it delivered to your house in advance if you don't want the hassle of getting one when you arrive, although I think you can now get them from machines at the train station.

Personally I prefer staying by St. Paul's or Tower bridge - usually get some good deals in the Grange hotels or the Hilton on last minute's top secret hotels - which are not much of a secret.
