    Weekend Fixtures:
    1A
Tarf vs G'owen - Tarf Win with BP at home (should be stronger than last week with Leinster fielding stronger side against Munster)
Dolphin Vs Belvo - Close but Dolphin to shade it at home
UL Bohs vs Con - Think it''ll be similar to last week with Bohs running Cons close but con to come out on top.
YM vs Mary's - Think Mary's are significantly weaker since Hug Hogan Retired, YM to scrap a win and make up for the hammering they recieved in this fixture last yr
Lansdowne vs Shannon - BP win for Lansdowne 30+ with their backs running riot led by Ronaldson

    1B
UCD vs Bruff - UCD to win but Bruff to come away with a LBP

    2A
Cashel vs OC -Gonna go with OC, led for majority of Senior Cup fixture, hopefully can make up for the disaster of a finish that day
Highfield vs Greystones - Highfield win
UCC vs Midleton - UCC's running style can be very entertaining but need to be cleverer when to do it, midleton in a tight one

    2B
Armagh vs S Well - Armagh
Nenagh vs Clon - Nenagh on home turf to do enough
Thomond vs NUIM - Never an easy trip to the Stadium of Light, Thomond to win

Tarf v Garrowen :- Tarf to win, Garryowen LBP
Boh's v Con :- Con to win, LBP to Boh's
Munsters v Mary's :- Going to go with a scraped home win. This could go either way
Lansdowne v Shannon :- Lansdowne to heap more misery on Shannon

UCD v Bruff :- UCD to win

Cashel v Crescent :- Heart says Crescent, Head says Cashel. Acid test for OC after impressive win last week against Queens.
Thomond v NUIM :- Thomond to grind out a victory at home.
On the internet, you can be anything you want. It always amazes me why so many people choose to be stupid.

As far as I'm aware, all AIL games have to have a doctor present. I think that the clubs near the hospital in Limerick don't have an ambulance present, but not sure what the requirements are.

    Intercept try.

Worst thing is, scrum's gone surprisingly well, too. Just inches off opening them up, over and again. There's the makings of a good College side there, and at least we're back playing College rugby.
    Vorsprung durch Pfennig.

DG to Midleton after as clear-cut a penalty as I have ever seen ignored by the ref. 5-19.

And then we wake up, tear into them, run in two cracking, cracking tries, miss the conversion on the first, get it on the second and it finishes 17-19, courtesy of an intercept try, two missed conversions and a DG when it was a penalty the other way. College rugby: I love it, but it's appreciably shortened my lifespan.

Saw Sweetnam for UCC. Dear God - that boy is GOOD.
    Vorsprung durch Pfennig.

What position did he play? (sweetnam)

    YM Won 16 - 14 against a poor Mary's team

    Anymore results?

The coach is only part of the problem.

its very sad to see this happening to the most successful club in the country someone is going to have to come in and sort out the mess but do they have the players to sort it i dont think so

  28. #145
Don't have the squad! Its disappointing for Limerick rugby! Lets hope, that if, they do go down they bounce right back, because it could be a longtime before they do because 1B has to be the toughest division around for Southern clubs with the amount of Northern trips!

I'm whole heartedly keeping my fingers crossed that it doesn't come to that for the greatest club in Irish club rugby history!

Anywho, after 2 rounds who are people liking?

He was as lame as a duck. Not the metaphorical lame duck either, but a real duck that was actually lame. Maybe from stepping on a land mine or something.

I find this the best for the AIL with reports.

Taz-Where did you get that information as I have seen nowhere that he(Penney) was ruled out?
Editor - The writer stands by the Penney information.
    Otaga Daily Times 3/5/2012
    Editor-
    - This article originally said Rob Penney had missed out on the Munster coaching job. That information was incorrect.
