Dunno why people think the Lions will cruise this tour, if they go down and try to play Fatlandball they'll be beaten, as evidenced this summer already.

Fatlandball with better players should be able to scrap out a close series win I think.

Don't forget the best of the other 3 Nations have a great record against Oz so should join the Welshies full of confidence.

Oz still have some players to add to their team who missed the Welsh tests too so should be a close one.

    And predictions Cowboy?!

With a handy HEC pool like Munster has (only one hard away game being played on a neutral ground), surely a home QF is in the bag?

Surely not! Paddypower aren't often wrong and it must be the first time in nearly a decade Munster aren't favourites to win their group

Yeah but they all have Quins, Sarries and Leicester at shorter odds so not a ringing endorsement

    Since you asked G23!

    Rugby Championship: New Zealand
6 Nations: Wales (no slam, Paris is their biggest obstacle)
Lions Tour: Lions loss 2-1 (plenty middling players in the Irish and English teams these days)
    Heineken Cup: Clermont
    Pro12: Munster
    AIL Div1: Garryowen
Premiership: Sarries (hopefully, thats what we want anyway)
    Top14: Toulon
    Super15: Crusaders
    B&I: Munster

    For added spice:

Last 4 for the Heineken: Munster(!) Clermont Leinster Toulon
    I am the million man.

Heineken Cup: Clermont - if leinster get home qf and sf i wouldn't back against them
    Pro12: Ulster
    AIL Div1: Garryowen
    Premiership: Leicester
    Top14: Clermont
    Super15: Stormers

    Lions Tour:
Heineken Cup: Clermont but Leinster if home semi. Clermont creeping closer every year but Leinster have the advantage of being a real club team playing together for some years now. Lot depends on fitness of BOD though. Still the main man/talisman.
Pro12: Ospreys- with most galacticos gone, will have most of their first XV for a lot of the season.
AIL Div1: Garryowen. Bit of a shocker losing Buckley to Cookies, who then registered him after due date for UBL! Let the committee politicing begin.
    Premiership: Saracens.
    Top14: Clermont
    Super15: Stormers
    B&I: Munster
Amlin: Perpignan, unless Declan Cusack turns into Carter and Guernica/Gornika win!
    Italian title: Calvisano.

Hopefully those middling players won't be picked then! No room for the middling player on a Lions Tour ha ha!

Heineken Cup: Don't want to even think about it...but it is in Dublin and Leinster know how to beat most if not all teams in Europe... it will be left to us, Clermont or Quins to stop them
Pro12: Leinster / Ulster...Edinburgh???? Stranger things have happened!
    Premiership: Quins

Taz-Where did you get that information as I have seen nowhere that he(Penney) was ruled out?
Editor - The writer stands by the Penney information.

    - This article originally said Rob Penney had missed out on the Munster coaching job. That information was incorrect.
