Declan Ryan - who, apparently, instructed Lar Corbett to act the pillock today as a 'tactic'.

He was as lame as a duck. Not the metaphorical lame duck either, but a real duck that was actually lame. Maybe from stepping on a land mine or something.

Never mind perception because it isn’t real. It’s only what people think. Go out and make them think something else.

I would ordinarily find it difficult to support the Cats, but Tipp's display yesterday left me no option - for tipp to resort to those tactics says it all really.

Some stupid weedy poet won if my memory serves me well enough. The whole night is a bit hazy but I think I managed to peck Bláthnaid on the cheek.

Some memories from my youth I try to forget. That night is one of them. Whenever I see that red head though, the shame comes flooding back. I suppose that makes her a bollix.

Most people in Tipp too are baffled and saddened by what went on yesterday.

To beat KK you have to open them up and score goals. Tipp did it a few years ago after coming very close the previous year. Galway did it in the Leinster final this year. Most would have like Sheedy to stay in charge then, but he has a day job to do too and a young family to support. Declan Ryan wasn't overtly criticised before this, but there were a few mumblings here and there that the best wasn't being made out of a talented group of players. The Lar story gathered legs earlier this year, but then it looked like he was getting back to match fitness by the time the Munster semi came around. KK were always going to be a handful given that they don't like beatings (hence Cummins comments after the Leinster final), but to go out and hand it to 'em on a plate with 'tactics' like that is unforgivable in the minds of most round here.

Sad thing is that from his comments Declan Ryan actually seems to think he was right on tactics........
Lar certainly bought into it, wonder what's going on in their heads now.......

Indeed. I'd say a bollox to play against. The kind of bollox you want in your team rather than against you.
