    The Munster Rugby Talent Camp

On in Rockwell over the last few weeks, some of the senior players called down to give tips and pass on their knowledge. Some interviews:

Munster Domestic Rugby Manager Ultan O'Callaghan

    Donnacha

    Mike Sherry

I welcome this as a first step, which in fairness Ultan does acknowledge, however I can only guess that this does not contain all of the best available players as we have not been given any info on any overhaul in the process of identifying those best players, if there was an overhaul at all.

A lot of these videos have been posted in the age grade interpros thread already and the points you have made have been discussed already. As i mentioned in the age grade interpros thread this camp and how good it did was can only be analysed when the last of the interpros has been played in october and the irish underage squads have been picked and released in december.
The process seems to have been different this year but the process on identifying players will not be released publically and i doubt it ever will be

It has to be open, transparent and comprehensive, otherwise garbage in garbage out. I believe Leinster have realised the folly of restricting their potential catchment base, if Munster hope to even catch up, they must do the same.

The selection process for these squads seems to have been slightly different to previous years. When you talk about the process being open, transparent and comprehensive. What do you want to be done?
Munster have realised that they need to do something different if more players are to develop and progress further and this camp in rockwell for the u18 clubs and schools, u19s and u20s is completely different to what has been done in the past and is an extension to the NTS that was in place a couple of summers ago.
