He was as lame as a duck. Not the metaphorical lame duck either, but a real duck that was actually lame. Maybe from stepping on a land mine or something.

Is there a funbus? I will be heading from London. Going to be keeping it cheap as possible.

How much was the Eurostar working out return for ya Fitzy73?

Likely to be a day trip. A fun train probably (the Eurostar). They are looking into the prices and so on

Abnout 100 stg return per person I think. Got in early so it wasn't too bad. Out Friday night, back Sunday lunchtime.

Got a good deal in a hotel near Gare du Lyon as well - pool, gym, sauna for about £100 per room per night. It's gone up a bit since though ..

Yeah, hopefully my buddy can make it over from Dubland or I reckon I'll be a lone voice amongst the Racing contingent.

Bout 10 to 12 of us heading from Ireland/London/Holland. All Upper tier on the Top Right (Try line) as you look at the seating map.

Ta, although I eventually went for 4 of the €5 tickets, as I sat in the higher tier near that spot previously.

I spent the vast sum of €6.40 inclusive of fees on a ticket in section K9.

COLORS DON'T MATCH with tickets prices for your game, but here is a readable plan :

9 of us going, (small family outing..) booked 9 of these tickets in L9, was at state de France for the world cup and six nations and it's so big you are somewhat compromised no mater where you are,

Some flying from Cork, but rest on Eurostar from London, Friday to Sunday, £69.00 return. Ibis Montmartre after that,

Hoping to go from Dubland, aer fungus pretty expensive at the moment. Suppose if I made the "big splash" on the tickets that would be an extra incentive.

The site I booked on said there were no facilities for picking up tkts at the stadium on the day of the game. However they have a network of sales points (mostly Carrefour supermarkets) where you can pick up tickets. Can't recall if that was poss on the day of the game though. One thing worth mentioning: they require the credt card that made the booking to be present at pick-up!

So judging by the info below from francebillet you could get your tickets at Fnac on the champs elysees the morning of the match! DO NOT QUOTE ME ON THIS THOUGH. but there is nothing to say it shouldn't work.

I bought mine through ticketnet.fr and it gave me the option to print the Etickets out myself which I did, which I think is a good option.

Although I am foaming with rage with the fact that this was moved to the Stade de France, I bough 4 in K1 area, spot looks OK.

How are we getting there? Those Aer Lingus effers have made Cork to CDG unaffordable.
