And you such an Adonis yourself, I presume? And, of course, ability as a broadcaster is all down to cup-size, eh?

So, you decided that one crass comment wasn't enough and that you had to add another, even crasser one?

But as for Williams and Francis. They used to be bearable up until the start of last season. Williams just sits there coming up with shortened versions of all the players names and says "I agree Franno" a hundred times.

    An average Setanta analysis:

Francis: Lineout poor, scrum poor, breakdown poor. Theres no one here who....is putting up there hand for Kidney....saying...pick me pick me

Matt Williams: Yeah Franno its muck

    Francis: (grunt) I mean Trimble...

MW: Now I coached Andy up in Ulstah and tremendously honest player

    Francis: (grunt)

MW: But Robbie Kahney, Paulie O'Connell, Johnno Sexton...we have a very good chance

    We? Yes you Ozzie twat!
Ya man, the "We" thing is definitely a gripe of mine.

And as for "Franno"; I would love to bate the patronising smirk off his bloated head. The chap is a a ****ing toad!

ok the Joanne topless thing was i would have thought very obviously tongue in cheek and hardly deserves the attention it got!!!
Regarding Matt and his first name terms with EVERYONE and the we thing, ok well ya the first name thing I can see why it grates with some, doesnt bother me in the slightest. At leasts its not as bad as Marty Morrissey point blank refusing to refer to GAA players by their actual birth cert names!!
But to say they are not a good studio team, I completely disagree. They disect and analyse to a degree RTE seem utterly incapable of. COS is the only RTE panelist worth his salt, If you had him with these 2 lads it would be far more insightful.
Just cos Matt calls lads by their pet names doesnt make his points any less valid.
I would think half the reason some dont like them is simply down to their Leinster roots?

Ps.....on the "we" thing. Matt has coached and played more rugby in Ireland at club and international level then everyone on this forum combined. I would think he is every bit as entitled as any of us to call Ireland "we"

In order for the "we" thing to stick with me, he would have to be openly cheering for us versus the Ozzies. If he takes a lie detector test and passes on this basis, I would be happy for him to say "we".

Francis is always acting the idiot though - I well remember on Setanta when Reggie Corrigan had to tell him to cut out the crap when he was trying to make out one of Keith Earls' early tries was all total fluke. Now Corrigan I have time for.

I just read the bit about Daire O Brien's cowardly wager and the most shocking part for me was that he was drinking lager WITH LIME!!
WTF? In did this when I was 15 and am still embarrassed.

Has Corrigan been back on Sky since the time he gave MOTM to Marius Joubert on the day we bate Clermont out the gates in Thomond?

That was just embarrassing for him.

In fairness to Reggie, he couldn't really have given it to Nigel Owens that day, regardless of his outstanding performance.
