i thought the winners of the challenge cup were also entered into the senior cup this year??

I thought they were as well, where the junior challenge cup winners in the senior cup last year? Maybe its changed now there's 16 senior clubs in the province.
Just reading through the article on munsterrugby on the cup that there will be a plate competition for the losers of the 1st round of the cup. Thats new isnt it?

ya i was shocked with the plate, never heard of it before.

We taught richmond would be in it, normally that happens must check it out.

It appears that the decision for the challenge cup winners not to enter the Senior Cup was made by the Junior committee because of previous years where Junior clubs pulled out ,and Senior Cup fixtures clash with Junior fixtures.
