Bull 2.0 is currently captain of the Exeter Chiefs

CJ seems to be arriving towards the start of November from what people are saying on here.

Poor C.J's back must be nearly broken with the hefty weight of expectation from the internet.

Shouldn't we be placing the weight of expectation on our own BRs of a similar age (i.e. DOC2.0, Butler, Dougall, POM, BOM), instead of a guy none of us have ever seen in the flesh? Sykes came up from RSA to Leinster with great fanfare and lasted all of 3 months.

I'd be shocked if CJS plays before January, and then only if our BR is as toothless as they currently are.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see him this side of Christmas. He didn't have a whole pile of game time in the second half of Super Rugby, and the Currie Cup is a 12 game (max) tournament, so he has hardly racked up 20 competitive starts since Christmas.

CJ seems to be due here in early November. We're at home to the Scarlets in Cork on the 25th of November, and playing Glasgow in Thomond the following week. Am I being overly optimistic in thinking we might see him get a run out during one of those games?

    Munster must wait for Stander

    By John Fallon
    Wednesday, October 17, 2012
Munster’s hopes of versatile back-rower CJ Stander arriving early in Ireland have been dashed as his Blue Bulls side have secured a Currie Cup semi-final spot in South Africa.
Entering last weekend’s final group games, the Bulls sat in last place in the six-team competition, but with their Springbok contingent returning to the side, they destroyed league leaders Golden Lions 50-29 to seal a spot in Saturday’s semi-finals.

He realises we don't want him too tired before he arrives here so he's gonna carry the bench around with him during the game. He's promised to sit on it during all kicks at goal and stoppages for injuries or laces to be tied

I would expect nothing less from a man that can start the match and then be sprung from the bench to provide fresh legs!

He doesn't seem to have actually played a load of rugby this year, a lot of bench time. Could be very important in terms of how much time we'll get out of him throughout the season.
