hmm.. JJ perchance ? the u20s RWC was the first time I got to see him in action properly and he's certainly not a shrinking violet in the tackling commitment, or lacking in physicality, looked like his frame could hold more bulk than sexton so potentially could be more physical. .. remember that discussion on one of the other threads, time at 12 could stand to him in the future at 10 if that's where his long-term future lies.

Condon's profile has been added to the deadsite. He's our second heaviest prop after Wian at 117Kg, and he's the shortest at only 5'9''. He's only 30 as well, so might have a bit of time left in him. If he's as good as people say he is, I cant wait to see him play a game in the Pro12. It'd be great to have some Munster born lads push back a scrum.

Taz-Where did you get that information as I have seen nowhere that he(Penney) was ruled out?
Editor - The writer stands by the Penney information.

Editor-- This article originally said Rob Penney had missed out on the Munster coaching job. That information was incorrect.
Potentially JJ but he's a few inches shorter and a few pounds lighter than Sexton and I wouldn't say he could get much heavier without losing his speed.
There's also the issue that we need a replacement for ROG and he may be the best option. If Keatley can step up that's a different story but I have my doubts.
Anyway, would certainly like to see JJ play some Rabo games 12 next season regardless. Would be good for his development.
Be great to see him come on for the last 20 mins and obliterate a few scrums, especially in tight games. He could be a huge asset yet.
