Without being parochial about it, reminds me of the Munster of 2002-2009 era, never letting that precious BP go. Mean it as a compliment.

We will be stronger when we meet on December 29th, assuming both play first XVs - POC match-fitter, Felix ditto, CJ Stander bulling about and integrated somewhat by then, Earls back, looking forward to it already. As for Laydeez..............

Ulster have us in Ravenhill on 21 Dec - so they'll play their first XV against us and send the dregs to Thomond.

We'll win handily enough in Thomond at Easter - unless Kidney fukcs us up during the 6ns.

Agreed - quality rugby, great to watch. And, to their credit, Castres didn't roll over.

Best in Europe from what I have seen. Bowe looks in cracking form as does Trimble although he is a lad who tends to start the season well and drop off a bit form wise. Think Humphreys/ Anscombe will have to deal with the Marshall/ Pienaar selection. Court is some back up to Healy at LHP, lets hope they endorse the 23 man panel experiment so he never has to play at 3!!!!

Come in Agent Kidney - play the bejaysus out of those Laydeez players in the green jersey - sure our lads are only kids,

I actually think McAllister would've been or at least close to being, our starting LHP if he wasn't out for the season.

Court does fine for us but he gives penalties away for fun. Our scrum wasn't as dominate as before due to have 3 flankers in the back row. Hopefully Williams or Wilson return next week.

    Away and tighten up.

Cracking game tonight on the hill. Haven't a clue why they didnt kick it dead at 80 but I don't care. Bit of luck to get the TBP but moving on to Glasgow next week.

Good luck tomorrow guys - two more Irish wins!

And I won't say your fans are hard to stomach cos that wouldn't be true and would make me an arsehole.

Better than the man who played McCaw off the park two games in a row during the summer? A great second option though.

Dont think Ulster deserved the five points or bonus point after their second half performance. if I was head coach - i would be angry that they took the foot off the gas.

From watching on tv, thIs is what I was listening to :
    ulster score: woohoo !
    castre get penalty : boooooo!
    ulster get penalty : woohoo!
court get deserved YC : booooooo!
    castre get penalty : boooooooooo!s

see the trend ? That's why I found them hard to stomach last night. It wasn't the crowd in general I was referring to. It was my opinion so you should respect it , just as i respect the claims of some of the posters on here regarding certain ulster players claims to an Irish jersey.
I don't agree with the claim but I can see how you would come to your conclusion.

Apologies if I offended some of the sensitive souls in the six counties ( or is it 9 ?)

Bit of a sad reflection on your life that you feel the need to ask whether Ulster is 6 or 9 counties. I thought this was a rugby forum, not a political one. Why not kill two birds with one stone and ask Mrs. Brightspark to buy you a map for christmas?

Tip number 2. If the crowd offend you that much you why not protect your sensitive little soul by watching it on mute?

There, there now, feel better wee man?

Castres are not a good side with their full team. But that was only half of it last night.

Ulster played well and are a very good side. But it has to be tempered against what they were playing against

It's by no means a new phenomenon, being the reason why I christened them "The Todgers" all those years ago!

(I added "The Dirty" because, for a while, they had some filthy stampers in the pack - happily, the players involved have since retired, moved on or cleaned up their act, hence the team is no longer deserving of that epithet.)

Did you ever watch Munster play circa 2002-2008?

Silly of me to bite, but sure what the hell.......Never surprises me some of the arse*holes that turn up on this place. Did Munsterfans not boo every decision that didn't go there way in the Q/F in April? Do most teams not especially in the big European matches? As for the rest of your rubbish, ah we'll leave it for another day although your finale was particularly pathetic.........yawn!!!

Indeed I did. That's when I created the verb 'turniping' to describe their (Kidney-invented) bastardized version of the great game.

I think it's funny Munster fans having a go about the Ulster crowd. Sure it's a bit of pantomime, boooo, hssss & off off off.

We put the ref under pressure & it's an imitating atmosphere for the opposition, can't understand why this frustrates Munster fans.
