As I say that, Biarittz are going through the forwards effectively and look to be back within 1 point.

Its hard to accept that Leinster have blown 10 pts and are only 1 point ahead

I'll remember that blown try for the next 40 years. Much like that Earls break that wasn't that's seared into my memory.

It's good. Neither side are defending very well so there will be tries.

Sexton looks to be forcing it a bit today. He should have kicked that penalty.

Too easy. Can't see anything other than a Leinster win today, or indeed for this competition.

Picking him on the basis of one performance would be a travesty; he's bee barely average all season but this type of game suits him - dominant pack feeding him ball in the loose. A good performance, no question, but does it deserve instant elevation to LIons selection this year? Not IMHO

Is he in the running for the Lions? Yes - but will he make the plane? Guess we will find out Tuesday

You said on the last page that you disagreed he was playing well and it was just BO.

I agree that you can't pick him for the Lions on the back of one performance. However, Leinster's pack (bar Heaslip and maybe Healy) has been decidedly second best for most of the first half. There was a stat around the 25min mark showing that Leinster had only 31% possession up to that point. In addition, Leinster have been under pressure at scrum-time and their line-out has coughed up 3/4 throws. In that context, Heaslip's performance today is absolutely top-notch. He is having a far greater influence on the game than Harinordoquy, even though his pack is on the back foot.
