    Leinster 2012/2013

I have just renewed my season ticket. €672 for 2 adults and 2 children for all games in North unreserved (and uncovered) stand.

Just hope there are not many Thursday/Friday games.

Yep, pity he's not a winger. But open side flanker is close enough.

20+ players there and some real quality players. After Leinster pick out the ones they want theres going to be a scramble for the left overs. Good opportunity for Connacht.

I can't believe Jordi Murphy is still in the academy, he seems to have been around forever. The pick of that bunch is Furlong for me, I can see Ireland relying on him in the future the same way we rely on Ross now. Some serious talent in that group

I really rate Jack O'Connell,Martin Moore and Conor Gilsenan as well as Furlong.

Leavy is going to be interesting, he has been the best back row that I have seen playing schools rugby in donkeys years.

If I hear another comparison with Leinster...

We haven't got as good a team as leinster, we haven't got the academy setup as leinster, we havent got the facilities as leinster, we haven't got the website as leinster, lenster fans have better songs.

It's bloody tiresome and iof you ask me is part of the problem and not the solution.

We seem more concerned about what Leinster are doing than what we have ourselves and where we need to improve?
Where are we in terms of Toulouse, or the Stormers, or Leicster, or the Crusaders?
    Why is it Bloody Leinster!!!

I agree they are the arch rivals and current HCup champs with everything seemingly going for them but if Clermont (Or even the Ospreys) have shown us anything, it's that they are not infallable.

If we keep comparing ourselves with Leinster, that's the limit to where we will be and by the time we get there, Leinster will have moved on and we'll still be behind them.

It's time to put the head down and pump the legs, not watch the guys with the ball and try to determine where he's going to pass.
Let's make a list of where we are and what we need to do as a club or as fans.

Take each game as a single entity and win each on its own.
Any losses, let it be learnings to win more games.
Let's focus on Improvement and our day will come.
This is how Deccie built us up to HCup champions.
We didn't sit around wondering why Toulouse or Leicster were better clubs than us then, or how great their websites were, we simply looked at what we had to do, what we were in control of and did it.

Leinster have 2 NIQ and a project place free.

Any word on who they are getting? I know they will need a second row, but do they need anyone else? Maybe a centre. Any rumour on who they are after?

I read in the local rag (Carlow) that the Byrne brothers (ex Clongowes hooker and prop) are both getting academy contracts this coming year, and studying in UCD depending on LC results.

Do any of the Leinster brethren know much about them currently?

    Why is it Leinster?

Because they are the best club side in Europe right now and possibly the world. If you were watching the round ball game we would be talking about Barcelona. Get over it. The wheel will turn.

No team is unbeatable ....even crusaders slumped to defeat v rebels..

We can't avoid the leinster thing.....they couldn't avoid it either for nearly ten years being compared to us...

We give it out then we got to suck it up.
