Its an iPhone with a flip open leather cover. You can tell from the camera lens in the top corner. Fairly decent phone in fairness. He must carry this in his pocket as a back-up to the comms equipment in the ground, which seem to give plenty of trouble (all grounds).
He tweeted that the phone was the 4th officials phone and was used as the comms weren't working.
