POM could be a bolter for the bench at 7 if they go that way. If Warburton is fit he'll start.

After our 6 nations they'll go with Wales and England like they always do with Stephen Jones in the Times picking the team for them.

Joke not to have even one irishman involved

Ashton is far from a class act. Ashton is a showboater and a little thug, his yellow card in the opening game last weekend for Saracens shows it.

No, I didn't. I watched the highlights for the game. His assist was excellent, I'll give him that, but his two tries were more down to poor Irish defence than anything else.

He is a petulant little thug who's prone to throwing temper tantrums when things aren't going his way. He's often completely switched off in defence when his side has gone behind and tends to throw his hands up, whinge, moan and pick stupid fights.

If it was Earls, Zebo on the end of those plays you'd be lauding them. Ashton is a top class finisher, is a class act and has shown it time and again with england and saints.

He did pick a silly fight with the Manu Express who nearly removed his head from his shoulders but i can't think of many others

Hair pulling??? The man is an absolute f*cking tool although I won't mind if he is in the team because it will further vindicate my non support of the whole, player ruining, Murdoch benefit.

  12. #41
Haha, i completely forgot about him trying it on with the big tuilagi!! Beg your pardon, ost apologetic, still believe he's an exceptional winger and finisher regardless

If his yellow card in a game for Saracens shows him to be a thug what do his 94 tries in 111 games at club level and 15 tries in 23 England caps make him?

What 4 would you think? Can see Cole, Tuilagi at 12 and Ashton starting, possibly Morgan or Easter ahead of Faletau at 8 but can't see others sneaking into starting team

Would not be sure about Tuilagi. The lack of English players may help Ashton get in but I wouldn't pick anyone outside dan cole at this point.

I agree, there should be no speculation on the internet.

A lot of people are staying Halfpenny for the 15 shirt but surely the in form Kearney is the best fullback in the northern hemisphere at the moment.

What are people thoughts about ROG getting a fourth tour?
    http://www.lionsrugby.com/news/11925.php
Gatland has stated that age will not be a barrier.
would like to see him go on the bench but think he's got no chance of getting on the plane.

  29. #57
Halfpenny may not be as solid under a highball as Kearney, but kicking, tackling, pace, power and finishing are better. Think he'll be nailed on 15! I think ROG would be pushing his luck to make it. Can see Priestland, Farrell, Wilko and Sexton being ahead of him!

Biggar i don't think he'll make it, not involved wit Wales............Gatland coaching..........doesn't fit. Like the Strauss call tho.....definite bolter!! If he declares for Ireland he'll be nailed on, was outstanding for Leinster AGAIN! For No.8 i think its between, Morgan and SOB, Easter would be the next option i think, offers so much still
